3.0 out of 5 stars Lasts about 12 uses....
After about a year, it starts coming apart at the seams....cannot repair & after a year the warrenties are usually void. Adults cannot use during the second year, otherwise,it deflates. We have used it overall, roughly 10 times & my 2 year old is still able to use it. Approximatly good for 1 birthday party & 9 neighborhood playdates!!!

I was a bit worried when I saw the shipping weight was 67 lbs. I hoped that I would be able to lift and set it up myself. I knew my husband would be able to do it, but since he's not at home with us during the day, I needed to be able to do it. The box was pretty heavy when it came, but after unpacking, I realized I could haul it. It consisted of a nice carrying case, the inflatable shark slide, and the blower.
There were also stakes, and instruction manual, and patches for repair if needed. Because the slide was in a carrying case, I was able to carry it out of my home and put it in the back yard with no problem. The blower hooks up to an inflatable tube that goes to the slide. Once I had the blower plugged in, I simply had to follow the instructions to get it up and going. It honestly took about 15 minutes from start to finish, which I was grateful for. Blowup time was also just over a minute, which is impressive considering how large this slide is.
We have a small yard as we live in a townhome and I was pleasantly surprised to see it fit in our yard quite nicely. Once it was blown up, I had to stake down the blower and the slide. There are 8 stakes in all and it's nice and necessary that they are included.
The fun thing about this slide is that you can use it dry or wet. My two boys had fun bouncing down it while it was dry, but it got to be even more fun when we turned on the sprayers. The sprayer is a long tube that connects to your hose, It is then velcroed underneath the shark's teeth and sprays down on the slide. The velcro is very strong and holds on well even though it gets wet. You also don't need a lot of power from the hose to get the sprayers going.
This slide is also very durable. We've had 7 kids playing on it at once, might I add that they were all rough and tumble boys. It is extremely durable and held up well to all of them. The weight limit is 200 lbs, which means that adults can get on and play too. I'm about 145 lbs and have gone down the slide multiple times, it's actually quite fun.
I've seen bubbles coming up from the seam at the bottom of the slide when the water is going, but everything I've read says it's normal. Since you have the blower on the entire time while your kids are playing, water has to seep out a bit somewhere. It's not a problem, but may seem alarming to those who don't know that it's normal. The pool at the bottom of the slide is also really fun. As the sprayers spray, the pool fills up at the bottom making for a great splash at the bottom. You can also use balls in the bottom if you want to use it dry.
The climbing wall in the back has handles and holes for little feet and it's easy to climb up. My 3 year old has no problem climbing up, and there's a good amount of space at the top of the slide to sit. There is mesh around the back of the slide, I imagine to protect kids from falling which I appreciate as a parent.
When you are all done playing, you simply have to turn the blower off and deflate. If you've used the water features, you need it completely dry before you put it back in the bag. This is a bit of a pain as it takes some time to dry out. We put it back into the bag when it wasn't quite dry, and there was water seeping out everywhere. Also - pay attention to how it is folded when you take it out for the first time. It explains a bit in the manual how to fold it back up, but the first few times we folded it back up, it felt like it was going to be impossible to get it back into the bag. After a few times of putting it back, it fits nicely in the carrying case.
Although the carrying case is a small addition, it is so so nice to have. It helps you to carry the slide, and store it when not in use.
Overall, this has provided hours and hours of fun so far and I'm excited to continue using it throughout the summer. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun themed inflatable slide!

I originally bought a different Blast Zone water slide. We had problems of bubbles forming under the fabric of that slide and needed to return it to Blast Zone for a replacement twice. I was totally fed up and my kids were devastated. I wanted a refund. Blast Zone offered to replace the second defective slide with this Shark slide for free! It was a significant upgrade from the one I first bought. Blast Zone's customer service is remarkable. I would recieve emails back within minutes of sending them. The people on the phone were polite and helpful.
Now as for this slide...we used it for one season so far. It is totally cool that two kids can slide at once. My kids would race eachother down the slide. The size of it is impressive. It is simple to set up. It blows up easy and super fast! It hoses off easily when dirt or grass gets on it. It also packs up nicely into the carrying bag that it comes with. Just air dry with the blower on and the water off. Empty the pool and towel dry. We can't wait to get out there again this year!
(And I know that there is a weight limit but I had to try it a few times. I'm 160 pounds....Shhh! LOL)
And during the spring or fall when it is too cold to slide with the water on, Blast Zone told me that the pool at the bottom can be filled with ball pit balls and the kids can use the slide in pillow cases and slide into the balls!

Two weeks before my granddaughters third birthday party her slide blew a large hole in the side of the pool.I tried to buy one locally but no luck this late in the season.I then contacted the company that made the old slide and found out that that model was discontinued andbased on my description of the damage was probably not repairable. So began my hunt for a new slide to my amazement there is an infinite variety of slides and prices. The Blast Zone Great White White Water had two slides was not as high as the old one and had a larger pool at the end of the slide. The old slide failed at the pool end where the sliding kids made contact with the pool. The old slide lasted only two seasons but with a lot of use. Only time will tell if this one can go farther.

After 3 uses and a lot of fun the stitches at the end of the pool came out. If I used this for 6 year olds and under it would last for a long time but when you have 8 to 10 year olds sliding down and crashing at the end of the pool it wont last. So I give it 5 stars for smaller people and 1 star for the 100 x 2 lps limit. I will return and probably order it again with my older boy and his friends only allowed to watch.

I live in Houston and do not have a pool. I have a newborn so can't take my 4 and 6 year olds out as often. So I got this to entertain the kids at home. I'm soooooo glad I bought this slide by Blast Zone.

We have had it for about 10 days and have used it almost everyday and once for a playdate with 10 kids (ages 18mths to 6yrs). The biggest child was 65 lbs. The slide had no problem holding 4 or 5 kids, weighing 35 to 65 lbs, at one time. I've seen the Little Tikes and Banzai waterslides and thought their materials/fabrics to be lighter. This material seems heavy duty and durable by comparison. So far the seams are holding up well. The blower is strong. I've had it on for 3-6 hours at a time. 2-4 hours play time and the rest to dry out the slide.

The actual height from which the kids slide is about 6 ft. off the ground. There is a seam at the bottom of the slide that my girls complained was rough and caught their upper thighs and bottoms. I gave them swim shorts instead of bikini bottoms and that helped. The boys didn't notice.

The slide becomes slick with a little bit of water. The water hose attaches via strong velcro. My kids were using the hose as a "handle" once up at the top. The velcro cannot hold a child's weight so we discouraged that very quickly. The hose attachment is not a mister, which I would have preferred, instead, it is a shower spray of water. I think that's my only real complaint. You only need to turn the hose on a little to get the desired water effect. (The slide is not very slick for dry use, too much friction.)

One observation: After sliding, my kids like to run back up the slide instead of getting out of the slide to climb up the back. They told me they don't like to get out to feel the rough grass and dirt and that it's fun to run up the slide. I noticed that this was a universal inclination for most of the kids who used the slide. (For me that's only a safety concern when there are lots of kids using the slide.) Blast Zone has a crocodile slide that's bigger (and more $) but the kids can climb up the front. But I settled on the this one because the kids can slide side by side and it was less money.

The safety netting on the back is a nice feature but you still have to watch that your child is careful not to slip and fall off the back of the slide. A 6 year old playmate did just that and bounced down and out onto the grass. It was a soft bounce...but it may not always be.

It takes an hour or two for the slide to dry after you have emptied the water out of the bottom pool area. I've left it out deflated over night, but will not do that again because of the dew, bugs and plant bits that get on the slide. The latter stains the fabric. It'll get dirty on its own, but I don't want to contribute to unnecessary staining that will make it "look" unusable. It's heavy and I haven't tried to put it into the carrying case. I leave it rolled up in an enclosed area of my backyard. I think it will last for a few years. I'm very happy with it.

We've owned ours for a year now. My kids used it almost daily during the summer as a water slide. When the weather got cooler the kids used it dry with ball pit balls at the bottom. Its held up really well. My kids are all under 7 years old and play pretty rough.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buying it again after 4 years of fun, May 27, 2011

I've used this slide for 4 years of play with 3 kids and their friends for playdates. My kids were preschoolers so it was more than durable to handle 4 to 5 kids using it at the time. At the end of the 4th year, the seam where they sit did start to pull apart which I was able to stitch and glue. With as hard as we've used it over the years (several times a week) I feel as though it was well worth the money spent. Every year as soon as the weather starts to warm up it's the first thing they ask for.
It's a great size for maintaining. Any bigger and it would be too difficult to dry, fold, and store after each use.
This year with it aging, I don't think my repair job will hold up to my older and heavier kids, so I am buying a new one. I still have a toddler and a preschooler in addition to my 2 older children that will get years of use from it.

We've been really happy with our purchase. We were looking into renting one but after seeing this one for the same if not less, we ende up buying one. It's kind of a pain drying it and storing it but still worth it. It was the biggest hit at all of our oarties with the kiddo's.

We love this water slide. It's so easy to set up and take down. My kids are 3 and 4 and they absolutely love it. There is nothing better than this water slide on a hot day! I have had the slide for over a year with no issues. Hands down I would buy another Blast Zone bouncer because they're fun and high quality.
