Tracing his development through "Long White Cadillac" (later recorded by Dwight Yoakam), "Trouble Bound" (with the Jordanaires on vocals), and the hard country of "Dark Night," brother Phil Alvin brings the necessary heart, soul, and authenticity to the work, and the band is a master of their form. These guys were literally "Born Too Late". They should have been rockin' back with the likes of Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Chuck Berry. This is a great one disc collection, but if you can pick up all their stuff, you won't be disapointed
