Huey depicts Blaze's life up to the late 60's, a small townWest Virginia gal, one of ten children born in Twelevepole WestVirginia, who became a fairly famous burlesque stripper. It comes with pictures in the middle of some of Blaze's stage acts. Good book if you like biographies. It depicts her rise to stardom and her relationship with Earl Long, who was the governor of Louisiana during the time they were involved with each other.

I love this movie, and it is one of my favorites, now I have read the book, written by blaze Starr, I really get a better understanding of the story, that hollywood tried to tell.
