Two teams fight each others on an isometrically viewed battlefield. Similar to the previous Bleach games, when a character attacks an opponent the screen switches to a side view. If two teammates are near the same opponent, they can perform a tag team move more powerful than the basic ones which may make it easier to kill an enemy. The game also allows you to use kido and other special moves. Once the player has won the battle, his characters will earn experience points which will increase their stats and unlock new abilities.

This game has fast become one of my favorite Strategy RPGs of all time! Besides capturing the true essence of Bleach, it allows for multiple playthrough without getting too stale. The story is exactly from the world of Bleach. I only wish the existing Bleach Characters talked in Japanese when they perform their Shikai and Bankai moves! AMAZING!

Granted, the dialogue scenes can get a bit tedious, but for a fan of Bleach and RPGs, it's a dream come true! Play as many classic Bleach characters, and create your OWN Bleach character to immerse into the Soul Society. Puts you in the action, follows the game-stories and the anime-story very well. Very pleased, but I'd ONLY recommend it for Bleach fans, not the causal RPGer.

Phew! only played for 2 hours and the game is just beggining. love it! will probably play over again, and again since i am a bleach fan. thought would be dull like other games to shows or movies.

i'd recommend it to people who arent so picky and wanna play a bleach related game on their DS.
