Flamenco And Anime? Who Knew?,
By
This review is from: Bleach Original Soundtrack 3 (Audio CD)
Bleach is back with the much anticipated release of the 3rd soundtrack. And when I say much anticipated, I mean fans have been scouring various Bleach fan sites, forums, and Japanese music store sites for any HINT of a 3rd soundtrack for almost a year and a half prior to its release. Yeah, it's that serious. So with all the hype building around it, one has to wonder if its any good? Well, if your a fan of the series, then you most likely have already fallen in love with the music. If you don't watch the show, I guarantee you wont know what to expect just by listening to past Bleach OST or looking at this cover. While there is the expected dramatic anime type music and the comical cuts unique to this anime sprinkled here and there, a majority of this soundtrack is... (brace yourself) Flamenco! Yeah I said it, Flamenco. Surprisingly, the music works extremely well with the world of the Arancar Huco Mundo, where the current story ark takes place. Just about everything in Huco Mundo is of Spanish origin in cultural reference, or just in name, so the music for many of the action scenes are made appropriately for that setting. Don't misunderstand, this is a Bleach soundtrack, so theres a healthy mix of everything in here. You have your hardcore upbeat rock music (Chad's Theme) your heavier dire situation (Ichigo's Hollow Transformation) sad music (Orihime) recap music (Ishida), and some downright scary music (Espada and Aizen's themes). There are a few tracks on here that aren't actually in the show, they're jsut some funky tracks that the composer decided throw in there for whatever reason, but a lot of this music is great to dance to. Don't look for this to be like the first two, because its only vaguely similar. Forgive the corniness, but this one has a bit more... spice to it. Yeah I know it was corny, but nonetheless, if you like bleach, grab this ASAP!

I love this album! It has a lot of interesting songs on it. But I think I like the songs like Escalon more than the guitar songs. Anyway, thanks you!
