I just ordered this figure not too long ago and it just came in the mail today. I opened it up, was tough to get out because of all that tape and such, but I got it out eventually. Moved around all the articulation I could and it has lots of it indeed! The figure is very well detailed and sculpted and can be put into many different poses. My issue with the figure although is the feet and the left hand to take off for his sword hand however. With his left foot, I was moving it to loosen the joints a little bit to make it more pose-able and the joint snapped and the foot came off. Nothing a little super glue can't fix, but still a little fault. The other foot has a cracked joint on it so I'm being very careful with that as well. The hand however, its hard to get it to stay in and sometimes it'll come off, I'm kind of afraid to push it too hard though because I don't want it to break. Overall though, its a good figure to buy and to be careful of, worth the purchase and just nice for show.

First off, I just want to say that this figure is absolutely stunning. I'm an obsessed Bleach fan (one that often notices small discrepancies in figures/posters that don't really matter), and even I couldn't find anything to complain about looks-wise. The detail put into this is amazing; everything from the hilt of his Zanpakutou to his hair and eyes are beautifully sculpted and almost look as though Toushirou walked out of the anime. Even the joints don't stick out that much. Trust me, the joints look far worse in the pictures than they do in person. If this review was based just on looks, it would get 5 stars, hands-down.

Play Arts Kai figures aren't just known for their great looks, though; they're supposed to be well articulated and poseable. Unfortunately, this is where the figure fails...and hence the two star rating. The left arm and right leg worked perfectly fine; though the joints "click" every time they move (don't worry, this is normal), they were perfectly stable and a wide range of motions were possible. The left leg, however, is missing the flexibility of the other and is far harder to pose, often getting stuck and refusing to move. As for the right arm, the arm itself was very loose in the socket and kept on falling out repeatedly with even the slightest movement. Both of these issues are annoying, but the major issue is the right elbow. The right elbow seemed to be stiffer than the left (which worked smoothly), but I assumed it just needed to be moved a little. Upon trying to move it (I wasn't forcing it, just to let you know), the arm snapped in half at the elbow. This wouldn't have been such a big issue if it was just a socket and could be put back in place...

I wanna say this figure is really detailed and so awesome. Wish they would make all the bleach characters just like this. My only gripe with it is. His arm broke off. All I did was move his arm from a straight position to an angled position. Then when I tried to put it back in the straight position but it wouldn't move then I tried with a little more force and it broke off. This of course totally bummed me out. So be careful when ya buy this guy. He's totally awesome but might lock up on you.

First for the good points, this figure looks amazing, Looks just like the character. It's taller than the average figure.

Next the bad points... WOW, what POOR QUALITY! My son is so disappointed. I bought this, the foot arrived snapped off. I bought another, it's foot broke immediately & the back of the robe was unglued so I had to reglue it. The ankles are SO THIN, seriously!

* I had at the same time as my 1st purchase of this figure, bought an Ichigo figure. The Ichigo figure has posed no problems yet. But my son won't use it, he just displays it for fear of breakage.

The figures are absolutely beautiful to look at but not worth the money and disappointment. Bad risk, poor quality, not recommended!!! Too, too, bad because they are lovely to look at & would be great to play with if made properly.

I wish I had read everyone's review on this before buying mine. They are aboslutely correct. I had one foot and one leg snap on me when experimenting to get the figure in the poses advertised, (which would look awesome on a shelf). However, since the joints are very fragile, my advice would be to keep it in the box or move at risk. It is however, one of the more beautifully painted and sculpted figures. Most look like the face is made out of wax and set too near a candle flame. This is very nicely done. Really, only for serious collectors.

Delivery arrived on time and the figure is beautifully sculptured and well painted. However both of his right and left feet already broken when I took him out from the packaging without moving it or anything. The quality control of this figure is horrible. Now I have to glue the joint up, which make the feet not longer moved nicely. Since I don't usually play with action figures, so I guess I will just leave it on my display shelf.

The title pretty much says it all. He's very good looking and really fun to pose and mess with; unfortunately, though these are the main functions of a toy, he is almost unable to perform them.

Upon removing Toshiro from his box, I wanted to see how his joints worked (as opposed to others in his line). They worked the same, except they were a little bit more loose than the others were when I first unboxed them. I was pleased (not really) to find that, after a few minutes of joint-loosening, his left foot (which I had not yet touched), had split. Almost in half. Now, this is easily fixed by some glue and a little patience. HOWEVER. I have recently found that there is a rather sizable split forming in his RIGHT ankle/foot joint as well. This does not make me very happy, as I had looked forward to a toy that would last me for a while. I hesitate to replace him for fear of having the same experience with another toy of his kind, as multiple other customers have reported issues of this type. If you want something to play with, this is probably not up your alley unless you are someone who has experience with more fragile toys. But if you want something that will look pretty in the box (or removed carefully from the box, with latex gloves and a pillow waiting for something to happen to it), this is probably going to be worth your money.
