While Captain Hitsugaya’s advance Soul Reaper troops adjust to life in the World of the Living, Ichigo and his friends undergo extensive training to prepare for the battle with the Arrancars. Ichigo is determined to learn to control his inner Hollow, but the Visoreds he goes to for help are just as determined for him to release it. Then, when Soul Reaper Rangiku saves a young soul from a Mock Arrancar, the extent of Sosuke Aizen’s grand scheme is slowly revealed.

The arrancar are threatening the world of the living, and Ichigo's only chance of defeating them lies with the visoreds. And "Bleach Uncut Box Set 7" kicks off around round of shonen-action training -- this time focused on whipping the teenage protagonists into some kind of fighting shape.

Ichigo finally comes to the visoreds for help controlling his inner hollow, and soon discovers that it's not his choice but theirs whether he'll learn from them. Before long, he's been thrown into a pitched battle with his inner hollow -- and as his monstrous body fights with the various visoreds, he goes through a terrifying ordeal inside his own head, with his life and soul in the balance.

But he's not the only one trying to learn: Chad goes to Urahara and asks him to train him, and Uryu keeps struggling to get back his Quincy powers. And in the Soul Society, the Soul Reapers have discovered the core of Aizen's malevolent plan, which could give him control of the worlds of the living and the dead...

There's a grim, desperate undercurrent to all the episodes of "Bleach Uncut Box Set 7," especially when we discover that Aizen isn't just planning to rule over Hueco Mundo. There's still plenty of funny moments (especially Ikkaku in his pinky fluffy T-shirt), but it feels like the tense grey moments right before a storm breaks.

This arc starts off strong, especially since the training episodes are surprisingly solid and interesting, especially when Ichigo's hollowfied form goes on a screeching rampage against all the Visoreds. The episodes become a little weaker near the end, since the writers tack in some filler episodes involving a ghostly brat who causes trouble for the Soul Reapers.

SO by the episode count on the picture I have to assume that viz media is no longer breaking this series into season long box sets as this box set will wrap up season 6 and bleed over to 7 with episodes 132 and 133, but they may be combining it all into one season too - either way it just means more money from us, the consumers who will still buy the box sets instead of the individual volumes.

I have had enough. As much as I love the series, VIZ's money grubbing has to come to an end. I just cannot afford to continue to pay the same price for half the content any longer. Enough is enough.
Thanks VIZ for driving away another fan.

My husband and I love the plot of this show but are getting a little annoyed that the box sets seem to be getting shorter for the same price. Also, they seem to be filling the sets (or episodes) with more useless extras like the singing teddy bear and less actual viewing time moving the plot forward. It is making owning this series more and more expensive. I would recommend watching the episodes if you are a fan of the series, lots of good action and new developments. Just, you might consider renting vs owning since it seems we will continue to get less for our money.

Bleach is my everything. I enjoy buying every box set that comes out, but, I've come to a decision and that's Bleach just isn't worth it anymore. I'm no longer buying the box sets until the prices drop. Goodbye Viz.

after watching the entire set for the season seven "box" set I can safely say that this was a bit of a disappointment yes the plot advanced a bit yes there was some filler but for thirty dollars when the previous set was twenty, viz media better clean up it's act and actually release box sets worth the dollar value on the price tag. if your patient and a loyal fan who buys the hard copies I hope your patience pays off as for the rest, wait for discount sales in stores or try to find an open copy at a used DVD store because thirty dollars for just twelve episodes is a price too high for what you get. One last thing I can honestly say that if viz media doesn't release box sets like they did with the first through third seasons I would not be surprised if there was a boy cot/pirating wave of present and future viz media releases.

Ichigo trains to control his inner hollow. In the meantime Aizen's plot is unfolding and Hitsugaya's troops are experiencing a little down time. In the time between fighting arrancar Rangiku, Ikkaku, and Toshiro have a little fun with shopping, soccer, and kendo. This isn't a very action packed box set, but the filler is actually kinda funny and little more interesting than some of the earlier stuff.

I am kinda sad that they are not being released as seasons I miss the boxes and the extra stuff that was in them. Even so I paid 30 bucks for box set 6 and that's alot cheaper then buying individual dvds. I couldn't get 2 volumes for 30 bucks so it's still a good deal and I intend to purchase the next one that comes to bad it doesn't come out till december though.
