Book Description

September 7, 2010
R to L (Japanese Style). Cleaning up the afterlife – one spirit at a time!

Ichigo Kurosaki never asked for the ability to see ghosts--he was born with the gift. When his family is attacked by a Hollow--a malevolent lost soul--Ichigo becomes a Soul Reaper, dedicating his life to protecting the innocent and helping the tortured spirits themselves find peace. Find out why Tite Kubo's Bleach has become an international manga smash-hit~!

Howling After: Healing Ichigo's terrible wounds so that he can face the diabolic Grimmjow at full strength, Orihime must watch from the sidelines as the two battle. Orihime tries to convince herself that Ichigo will be all right, but she can't help but be worried about him. And when Grimmjow taunts Ichigo into releasing his Hollow self, her confidence in her friend begins to waver. Has their time in the realm of the Hollows changed them both too much?

5.0 out of 5 stars Grimmjow Fans Rejoice!!!!, October 7, 2010

This review is from: Bleach, Vol. 32 (Paperback)
Bleach Vol 32 contains chapters 279 - 286 and also has a special chapter about Toshiro Hitsugaya that lightly touches upon the Bleach Movie 2: Diamond Dust Rebellion. But without giving much spoiler information this entire volume spans the entirety of the fight between Grimmjow and Ichigo. This is particularly interesting that this entire fight is contained wholly within one volume.

I think that it is my favorite fight thus far and was glad that they were able to wholly contain it within. Some of the chapters, within have limited text but has detailed drawing to indicate easy to follow action. The action is fluid, the dialogue that is at times shared conveys the characters personalities and reveals their motives, and finally the sound effects are in places that do not interfere with the action and help to bring it to life more.

This is one the volumes that deserves to be picked up by fans and by people who are just looking to buy their favorite fight that was animated but in collectible paper format.

4.0 out of 5 stars The final battle of Hueco Mundo is finally here..., May 23, 2011
This review is from: Bleach, Vol. 32 (Paperback)
Tite Kubo, Bleach, vol. 32: Howling (ViZ, 2001)

It has finally arrived: the climax of the Hueco Mundo storyline, the fight between Ichigo and Grimmjow. Instead of hopping perspectives as we have in the last few volumes, we stick with this one battle throughout. Exciting. *** 1/2
