About the Author
Maxine Marsolini is a free-lance writer, author, poet, pastor's wife and homemaker. Maxine writes from what she calls "wisdom born of pain" through the difficult soil of a blended home. She and her husband Charlie, reside in the state of Oregon where they serve in ministry together working with couples who are struggling with relationship and financial issues. Maxine and Charlie have seven children in their blended family.

after reading this book i came away with a definite feeling the author has had her own personal experiences with a blended family. She speaks from a point of her pain caused by her divorce and remarriage. seven children were involved her, his, and theirs. WOW! every situation you can imagine was encountered and experienced. i found there experience something we all can learn from, without the first hand experience of our own. Thank you Lord for using Maxine as your minister in this area of relationships that is so needed today.

Learning How to Blend,

This book is simply written and an easy read. We are raising our children according to scripture and I love how she pulls out words from God in order to make this work. We have had a very hard blending five children and the minute I feel things get a little hectic, I refer to the book.
I started with other books and put them down and immediately put out a note on FB asking for a book that could really help and more than one response directed me to this book. Its a great start.
