The Blendtec ICB7 is a 20 amp commercial blender that comes with two containers: One 64oz jar equipped with a 3 inch blade and one 96oz jar equipped with a 4 inch blade for optimum micron-size blending. The 5-sided 96oz container swirls the ingredients with high-performance smoothie action towards the blade. Factory warranty is 3 years. This is a hybrid blender from Blendtec. It has a Connoisseur housing, a Smoother motor and an HP3A keypad (and therefore includes an HP3A user manual). It has 16 pre-programmed blending settings with variable speeds and adjustments for custom use. Blends it all, wet and dry ingredients. NOTE: This is a 20 amp appliance so it comes with a NEMA 5-20 electrical plug

This blender is awesome and worth splurging on. I had always wanted a nice blender, and after saving up I got the best out there. I knew it would take the special 20amp plug, but that just made it all the more awesome. After looking on the Bay and other sites, Amazon had about the same lowest price. However, having an Amazon gift card in hand is what sealed the deal.

I was tired of putting up with lousy 20 year old blenders with wavy sides to the pitcher, low power, and that electrical burning smell. This blender does everything I need to do, and does it well. Ice is no problem. No electrical smell.

I think it's just mine, but the LCD readout is a little crooked.
