WHILE VISITING FAMILY IN SYRACUSE A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO I MENTIONED TO MY VERY COOL BROTHER-IN LAW THAT I HAD BEEN HEARING A BEAUTIFUL SONG ON THE RADIO BUT HAD NOT BEEN ABLE TO CATCH THE ARTIST'S NAME. HE TOOK ME INTO A LOCAL MUSIC STORE WHERE WE TYPED "INTO THE NIGHT " INTO THEIR COMPUTER, WHICH BROUGHT UP SEVERAL CHOICES, ONE BEING BENNY MARDONES. I BEING LOST IN THE CHOICES,ASKED MY BROTHER-IN LAWS OPINION, HE TOLD ME OF THIS LOCAL ARTIST,BENNY, AND TOLD ME OF HIS MUSIC, AND THOUGHT THAT THE MOST LIKELY. THE STORE WAS OUT OF THE CD... UPON MY RETURN TO DENVER I WENT TO THIS WONDERFUL INTERNET BOOKSELLER, AGAIN TYPED IN THE TITLE, AND LO AND BEHOLD IT BROUGHT ME AGAIN TO BENNY MARDONES, I READ WITH GREAT INTEREST THE REVIEWS AND DECIDED THAT THIS MUST IN FACT BE THE ARTIST I HAD BEEN SEARCHING FOR, AND ORDERED THE CD. ANTICIPATING IT'S ARRIVAL, I THEN WONDERED WHAT ELSE MIGHT BE AVAILABLE AND THE NEXT DAY FOUND MYSELF AGAIN BROWSING, TYPED IN HIS NAME AND THERE IT WAS, A NEW ALBUM "ANGEL", I THOUGHT TO GET A JUMP ON THINGS I WOULD GO TO OUR LOCAL MUSIC STORE AND CHECK OUT THIS NEW DISCOVERY, THERE IT WAS, I HAVE LISTENED AND AM BLOWN AWAY, THAT VOICE, THAT MUSIC, I CAN SEE WHY OTHER REVIEWERS HAVE SAID THEY COULD LISTEN NON STOP FOR HOURS, I SHALL TOO, BEING A FAN OF BOB SEGER, VAN MORRISON, JOE COCKER, ALL THE GREATS AND NOW BENNY MARDONES,,, I SHALL BUY WHATEVER YOU HAVE OUT THERE, AND YOU, MY FELLOW NEW YORKER, YOU NEED MORE EXPOSURE... KEEP GOING.

This is such a fantastic album! Every song has just the right sound and just the right words. It is as if they were sent from up above. Benny has outdone himself on this one and is to be commended for such a beautiful album! I love every single song on it and never get tired of listening to it. Keep on bringing us your beautiful music, Benny, and I will keep on buying it!!!!!!

Like lasagana, better the next day, this cd sounds more delicious every time I play it!!! I don't know what else to say, except that this is an artist that seems to do all good...see you at the next show, wherever that may be...peace and love from me and my wife..

I too am new to Benny, just recently got all of his music - but "Angel" is the most beautiful CD I have ever listened to. This man is AMAZING.. He performs in Syracuse, and Sylvan Beach, and is so NICE. Was fortunate enough to meet him this past weekend, and would recommend anyone who loves "Into the Night" go check him out in Syracuse in the summertime when he comes, usually May 24 weekend and August. Check out his website for any more information - he is coming out with a new CD this september - Journey Through time - if you really love Into the Night YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS THIS NEW ALBUM - he sang 2 songs from the new CD and THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL - touches the heart!

Not the same old Benny, but does not sound bad. Into the Night is the best song that he ever wrote and sang. How can I recieve more of his albums without having a credit card to order them?

Yes, Benny mardones Is more than "Into The Night" (but, Is True, Is by far the best Song of Benny). Angel Is a CD with Soft Songs, Melodic, Is Special For Romantic Nights With Your GirlFriend or Wife!

Angel is a Beutiful CD, Definitively, Benny , Many Thanks For Your Music...Angel Always Will Be one of my Favorites CD On My car... By the way, Never Run, Never Hide Is a Good CD, Also!!!

I'm a rocker. Benny is a rocker too. I know your confused right? So, why is this CD being listed w/Journey and Kenny G? I don't get it either! This CD shows Benny Mardones at his best. Singing the way I've always wanted to hear his crisp clear POWERFULL rock voice sound! I always wondered what an extra 10 seconds at the end of his great hit "Into The Night" would sound like? My guess is it would be ANY of the songs on this CD! Everyone is a bonafide hit. Each [draws] the listener in and when the CD ends your left begging one an encore! Easy, just play it again! Thanx for this excellant music. God bless ya Benny!

Benny's song BLESS A BRAND NEW ANGEL,is awesome. It will give you goosebumps, esp. if you have ever lost a loved one. I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES, is also excellent and it a personal song for Benny at this time. This song is for anyone who has ever prayed for a miracle or prayed for something they wanted so badly. FROM ME TO YOU should be reborn on commercial radio. If we start requesting this around the 1st of Jan. on radio, it will be the "new" Valentine song in Feb. ALL the songs on this cd are wonderful, tender love songs. Share some time with someone you love and Benny's ANGEL cd.
