Fascinating Reading on the Eucharist,

This review is from: The Blessed Eucharist: Our Greatest Treasure (Paperback)
Although this book was written in a different "era", the subject is timeless. It is a deep, but easy read. I am learning a lot about what a treasure the Eucharist really is.

Eucharistic Truths,

This review is from: The Blessed Eucharist: Our Greatest Treasure (Paperback)
"Why don't they write them like this anymore?" Because the Roman Catholic Church has shifted radically from her traditional moorings since the onset of Vatican Council II. Moreover, this book was written in the 19th Century when the Holy Eucharist was taught as the "body, blood, soul, and divinity" of Our Lord Jesus Himself. Seminaries today are replete with all kinds of "other" teachings regarding this greatest of sacraments. This book would help anchor any Catholic waffling in the changing theological winds or the traditionalist who wants a firmer grasp on Eucharistic truths.
