Blinc tubing mascara, July 6, 2010
This review is from: Blinc Black Mascara - Two Full-Size Tubes (Health and Beauty)
I love this mascara! About a year ago I discovered DMC's tubing mascara and have been hooked on this kind of mascara ever since. I learned about Blinc and have been using it for about two weeks and love it too. The tubing style of mascara doesn't paint your eyelashes like regular mascaras do, instead it "tubes" your eyelashes. You won't get the same thickness you might get with other mascaras but you do get nice long lashes. and better yet, you don't get dark circles under your eye by mid-day or in the morning, it doesn't smear, it doesn't smudge and you can cry or swim and you don't have black all over your face. It isn't totally waterproof but if you want to wear it swimming you can. Some of it may be gone when you finish your swim but what you lose will not be all over your face. This stuff is great! Sleep in it and you will look just as great the next morning! When you are ready to take it off it comes off easily with lots of warm water. This is a fantastic alternative to regular mascara and to waterproof mascara. I recommend using this with the Blinc eyelash primer to add extra volume before tubing your lashes. I will never switch back to regular mascara!
FYI, I also tried the Loreal tubing mascara with primer. I found it to be similar but more work than it is worth and rather messy. DMC and Blinc were both easy to use and looked even better when paired with the Blinc eyelash primer.

So far I have found nothing else that beats Blinc, June 23, 2011
This review is from: Blinc Black Mascara - Two Full-Size Tubes (Health and Beauty)
I heard about this mascara a few years ago and thought I would give it a try. I used to use Lancome Definicils. I will say that Definicils is also an outstanding mascara if you want long, long lashes. The problem that I had with it and other mascaras is that they smudge under my eyes and flake off before the end of the day. I also don't like using eye make up removers - I'm too lazy to have to add another step to my beauty routine at night so I ordered the Blinc mascara. At this point I have not found another mascara that can replace this for me. Though I will say that if you have short lashes and you don't want to use the also available primer - this will not make your lashes very long. I have long eye lashes to start so it works for me. Right now I am also using the primer first and that makes my lashes very long. So long in fact that sometimes they touch my sunglasses if they are sitting too close to my face.
Pros - Nice dark lashes and it NEVER smudges or flakes off.
Comes off in little tubes in the shower with just water.
Dries quickly.
Cons - not the best for already short lashes unless you want to invest in the primer.
Mascara comes off in the shower looking like little black spiders if you forget to rinse them all down the drain which can be disconcerting for those who do not know what it is.
I didn't give it a 5 out of 5 stars because I don't think it is the best mascara for anyone who has lashes on the short side. You will have to buy the primer and ups the cost. I like the primer and mascara combo and will pay extra but that does make it more expensive.

No more Racoon eyes, February 15, 2011
This review is from: Blinc Black Mascara - Two Full-Size Tubes (Health and Beauty)
I really love this product. The ONLY con is that it does not make my eyelashes look thicker or longer. I just use a eyelash thickener prior to applying the Blinc mascara. I love that the skin under my eyes always looks light & clean, I love that it washes off with just warm water & gentle pressure. If you are traveling it is especially nice as you can leave the mascara remover at home - one less thing to carry. :-) And no racoon eyes! :-)
