Formed: 1988 (24 years ago) BiographyBlind Melon is an alternative rock band which formed in 1989 and split for over ten years after the death of its frontman Shannon Hoon. Between 2006-2008 the new lead vocalist was Travis Warren who joined the remaining members of the band, Christopher Thorn, Rogers Stevens, Brad Smith and Glen Graham to create a reformed Blind Melon. The fledgling days of the band were marked by Hoon's duet with Axl Rose on the Guns 'N Roses track "Don't cry" in 1991.
