Editorial Reviews

A blind Asian-American woman lives with her son and his wife, a woman she is constantly at odds with. When an old family friend, who was sent to prison for murdering his father, breaks in holding the wife hostage and accusing the blind woman's dead husband of being the real killer, a family's deepest, darkest secrets are revealed. In this gripping psychological drama nothing is ever as it appears to be.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Interesting February 20, 2010
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
I own this DVD and purchased it because it stars Joe Lando. With that said, I found the story to be very interesting. It is almost like watching a play that was taped as it really only has four main characters who interact with each other. This movie starts off a little slow, but once Joe's character of Patrick enters, it becomes more intriguing. He is accused of killing his parents and found guilty of said crime. He escapes after serving 10 years for a crime he did not commit from a prison van during a transport and heads to his godfamily's home seeking revenge towards his godfather, whom he believes is the true killer of his parents. With twists and turns throughout, this movie fulfills the prophecy of what goes around comes around. Joe Lando was still working as Sully on Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, but fans should be warned that the character of Patrick is a far cry from Sully. I recommend Blindness to those who like some mixed romance and suspense, and/or who are fans of Joe Lando as I am.

5.0 out of 5 stars Joe Lando: the OTHER version December 7, 2012
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
This film has our Byron Sully from Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman portraying a very creepy guy. I enjoy seeing actors play "outside their type", & Mr. Lando nailed this guy. You may want a cold drink to view, & a cold shower after!

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing August 6, 2011
Oh my, am I glad I didn't buy this movie, I borrowed it from a friend. I wanted to see it because it stars Joe Lando. I was shocked at the language! My goodness! I lost count of the times he said GD, F. D, S... I only kept watching because it was Joe Lando- if it had been anyone else, I would have shut it off after his first five minutes on screen.. Although he gave it everything he had, the script was lousy, the movie depressing, and unrealistic, especially the end, and the other three players were absolutely boring. It has a love scene, yes, but he's making it with his best friend's wife. He's definitely not Sully in this movie. I'll never watch it again. And I'm a HUGE Joe Lando fan.
