Informative and disturbing.,

This review is from: Blindsided: Planet X Passes in 2003- Earthchanges! (Paperback)
Although published in 2001, this book has reportedly been delayed in distribution, in order to minimize its effect on the general public. The effect, if the book is accurate, would be nothing less than wholesale panic and the dissolution of society. The author, although admittedly not a scientist, has presented a very credible and disturbing work. According to Mark Hazelwood (with some empirical support), a brown dwarf star (Planet X, or its astronomical tag 2001 KX76) has been discovered by two major observatories in 1983. This object, which is denser than earth and which has a powerful magnetic field, has an elliptical orbit which takes it from the outer to inner reaches of our solar system every 3,600 years. According to the author, this brown dwarf (actually red in color) is causing disturbances in the orbits of many celestial bodies on the outer rings of our solar system, and is being pulled towards our sun by their mutual gravitational fields. Citing archeological and geological evidence, as well as mythology and biblical prophecies, Hazelwood presents a chilling scenario. At the current rate of travel, Planet X will pass near the earth within the next year. As the object comes closer, it will become visible to the naked eye, appearing as a "red cross" in the sky. The author makes the case that the strange weather of recent years are early manifestations of the gravitational effect on earth by 2001 KX76. At a certain distance from the earth, there will be a dramatic (and rapid) pole shift, effectively destroying much of the life on this planet. This information has been kept from the general public (it's not "global warming" or "el nino" causing the havoc); there is nothing that can be done to avert it. By denying it, those in power can squeeze every last penny from an unsuspecting public before they scurry off to their well-fortified escape facilities. Hazelwood has written this book, he states, in order to allow people to prepare for survival, or at least to prepare mentally and spiritually for the cataclysm that will result from the object's approach. Supported by some strong arguments, 'Blindsided' is thought provoking and will cause many anxiety. Interestingly, the book is classified as 'science', not 'New Age' or 'speculation'. Those who read the book can independently find collaboration from many sources for much of what is presented. Buy it and read it now, and share it with others.

Complete and utter garbage,

This review is from: Blindsided: Planet X Passes in 2003- Earthchanges! (Paperback)
Work of fiction that pretends to be nonfiction.Poorly written and ineptly researched prediction that the Solar System's 10th planet will come crashing through the solar system in May 2003 (right now!!!). Even if you believe that a 10th planet exists somehwere out there, there is no evidence of any kind that said planet will be paying the earth a visit any time in the foreseable future. Book relies heavily on the fictitious alien zeta accounts.

Even though I never believed Hazelwood's prediction for the return of Nibiru in 2003, this book was still a bitter disappointment. Definitely not for the serious researcher. Most of the book was pieced together from the works of other authors, so save your money and go to ZetaTalk.com... obviously Hazelwood did.

Entertaining...but...,

This review is from: Blindsided: Planet X Passes in 2003- Earthchanges! (Paperback)
This book is a very intereresting read. It does make you look at life in a different way, in that we are very insignificant in the big scheme of things. However Mark Hazlewood has way too much angst towards the american government. every paragraph makes reference to how the "controllers" are hiding information from the public. I think this is just a way for him to piece together circumstantial evidence and blame it on the government. However, the book was quite entertaining, and I suggest to those remotely concerned/interested about Planet X to read this book and make your own conclusions. This was Hazlewoods goal. Read it and make your own decision. Because if Planet X exists, its your decision that will ultimately decide your future.

This review is from: Blindsided: Planet X Passes in 2003- Earthchanges! (Paperback)
This book is about Planet X coming our way in the spring of 2003 (Of course it didn't show up). As it always has every 3600 years, it will cause major earth changes and 1/3 of the population will die. Although this book is not very well written, I do believe that the authors intentions are genuine. He really believes what he is saying and presents some powerful evidence that we are in for a world wide cataclysm. Depending on where you live and weather or not you have prepared, you may survive. Of course the government is keeping all this a secret from us while they build their underground bunkers so don't be thinking you can turn to them for help when you see the big red ball in the sky. This book is alright but there are more in-depth books out there on the subject of Planet X.

This review is from: Blindsided: Planet X Passes in 2003- Earthchanges! (Paperback)
Blindsided is blindsided. The writing is very amateur. Not to mention that all Mark writes about is what is freely on the web. This book is useful for the prophecy that is within it's pages and that is all. You will need to sift through the book to find the true prophecy. Of course Marks end dates and the dates of others as they try to predict earth changes is wrong. A little more could have been put into the book if there was not a rush to get it in print. Marks new book "Deicate Earth" is nothing more than plagarism and copying from NASA's files and news articles from the internet. A true disappointment.

I'll sell my copy through Amazon, if it means getting the word out. If you are looking for facts, this is the book to get. This book is great for a compilation of all the tidbits of TRUE information that is out there buried within the piles of FALSE information the government has created. It would take me a lifetime to find the facts that Mark has shared. He did a good job demonstrating to what extent the government will go to cover this up.

Planet X is Coming,
By A Customer
This review is from: Blindsided: Planet X Passes in 2003- Earthchanges! (Paperback)
A star that didn't make it, a brown dwarf star, orbits our sun and swings over to a dead star in Orion. Total two-star orbit time: 3,600 years. It returns in May, 2003. Many historical and biblical references given for a cyclical catastrophe of this nature, usually involving earth's pole shift. The passing of this Planet X, as the brown dwarf is called, will cause earth changes as it passes between earth and the sun.
