After reading The Rat, I made it my mission to find more of Sue Lehman's work. This one was no disappointment. Lots of fun. Lots of twists and turns. Easy and fast paced. This is one crazy family... but funny, too.

Thoroughly Enjoyed It!,

Both my wife and I read this and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very good plot. Very enjoyable details and writing style. Ms. Lehman has a sense of humor that shines through and an enjoyable way of describing details.

Page-turner with rare resolution,

Fast-paced adventure that kept my attention glued to it chapter after chapter. The unexpected resolution was much more benign and reflective of mature adult interaction than any mystery novel that I have ever read. Between the intriguing story line and satisfying resolution, I give my highest recommendation.

A fun, laid-back Mystery,

Blindsided is a very good bedtime read. This is a nice "it could happen to anybody" little mystery. Interesting characters and locations. Can be of special interest to dog lovers. Looking forward to getting Lehman's next book when it comes out.

Blindsided Review,

This review is from: Blindsided (Paperback)
The title of Sue Lehman's novel, BLINDSIDED, refers to the chance involvement in a crime simply by attending a family reunion but also alludes to one of the stronger characters, the blind uncle, a Vietnam P.O.W. The story keeps you guessing to the end -- all readers are "blinded," bumping along down blind alleys. The political elements of the novel -- a politician seeking a nomination, the political implications of the P.O.W. issue -- keep the novel in a real world and add to the urgency of the mystery. It's certainly a page-turner!
