It's ok...but don't waste your money,

I collect crochet and knit patterns for dogs, as I have 2 that do not like cold weather. This is possibly the worst book that I own. The patterns are not well-written and to meet gauge must be adjusted dramatically from given yarn weights and needles. The patterns are cute and if written better would be adorable on your pet. It takes a lot of skill and crochet know-how to redo the patterns so that they work out correctly. Not a good book for beginners. I rated it a three because the ideas are cute, but the patterns are horribly written.
