I bought the Twinkling Treasures necklace to go with some earrings I already owned (from another company). The earrings look like Christmas tree bulb lights, and flash. The Twinkling Treasures necklace has a better design feature in having a switch to turn the necklace on and off. However--- finding the batteries was a real Grail Quest. When I finally ran them down, I could only get the at Radio Shack, for about $15.00. This year I decide not to spend the money on batteries, and simply wore the necklace, which is still cute. The necklace kept droppong bulbs. I ended up having to throw it in the trash. It was fun for a season -- I'd like to find a better constructed replacement, which would use more affordable (and easier to find) batteries.

I bought one of these for all the women in the family to wear ato ur Christmas get togethers...I had bought one for myself the year before from a Books-a-million...well...they stopped working after one use. I don't know if it was a connection problem or what, but of the 3 settings, only one of the blinky ones would work and the red lights wouldn't light up. ALL of the necklaces I bought did this (7). Def will only buy them in a store next time.
This has to be one of the most cheap necklace one could ever spend money on.
1. Half the beads (lites) are just plain plastic & are NOT MEANT to light up.
The other half of the lights only light up once in a while., barely noticeable.
2. VERY short.... if you're about 8 yrs old it might fit around your neck and hang down about 2inches. 14# necklace
3. I guess you get what you pay for. I paid $3.00 and yes, it is a piece of junk and will be returning it tomorrow as I fight the crowds at JoAnn Fabric store, stand in a long line and return it.
DON'T waste your money!
