Ok, this game is just pure fun. Yes, that is what I said, pure fun. You start off by making your own team (for the cats at start), and after you win a mission you get to be the pigs and make your own team for them, all too good. This game has different gameplay modes also, some are: single player, single player co-op, multiplayer vs., plus tests in the single player, and I can't forget to say that you can buy different (usually better) equipment for your team. Also, the multiplayer is great. Because you can upgrade your team in the multiplayer between matches. It's just pure fun. If I were you, I would leave your house right this instant and go buy this game at the nearest store. I hope that this review helped you! (I really do!)

Blinx 2 has overall better graphics and is harder to accomplish the levels, which makes it challenging. One thing i didn't really like is that lack of saving allowed like was in the first. After completing a stage, there is no save until you complete the whole level and for us older xBox players whom have other responsibilities in life, playing out a full level before saving is hard to do at times. Otherwise, it is wonderful!

I know a lot of people aren't the biggest fan of this game, but trust me when I say I'm glad it was one of the first games I bought for the Xbox!

The Tom Tom Gang are out for treasure as usual, and in the process find something called The Big Crystal. Benito immediately sets his sights on it, but in the process the crystal cracks, causing a major problem for the Time Sweepers. Their computer system shuts down and the clock has stopped working, causing Time Monsters to appear all over the place, and upsetting the Time Goddesses. Benito begins dreaming of the daughter of the Goddesses, Mina, who begs him to collect all the crystal fragments. Meanwhile the Time Sweepers are also after the crystal fragments, thinking the Tom Tom Gang want them for less than reputable purposes and hoping to repair the crystal themselves. As it turns out, the Goddesses are debating whether or not to drop the Time Scissors (which cut the strings of time), which in turn will destroy the universe and begin it anew. The player must collect all eight crystal fragments and repair the Big Crystal before the Goddesses destroy the world, all while destroying Time Monsters and setting the universe right.

This game is unique in that there is no real antagonist. In Blinx, the Tom Tom's were antagonists, but here they are anti-heroes, stealing and sneaking to make the world right again. The Goddesses themselves are not malevolent; rather, they can't think of any other way to fix the world if the crystal is not fixed, so their best solution is to make a new one.

And, of course, the best feature of all; you play as both a Time Sweeper and Tom Tom, which are completely customizable to your liking! Want your cat to have purple eyes? Long tail, green fur, black jacket?

This is a review on the game itself, not the product. The disc was fine, and played well, so if you already know you love the game, buy it.

The game itself has several pros and cons. On the upside, it's a sequel to Blinx. Come on, who wouldn't be pumped about that? You can customize your own character, right down to the length of the tail. No female options though; that was a bummer. I had also been hoping for more involvement with Blinx. Maybe a level or two played as our favorite feline? No such luck. You do however, get to enjoy the other half of the adventure; you can play as the pigs. They're like little porky ninjas. It's awesome.

Now, there is one detail I CANNOT over look. For those of you familiar with the original Blinx, perhaps you recall how unbearably IMPOSSIBLE it was? I never made it halfway through the game. Well I'm sure plenty of people complained, and Artoon heard them. They took anything resembling difficulty out of the game. That gut-wrenching fear as you battle the clock? Nope. You now get letter grades based on your speed. No real effect on your gameplay though. Take you time. The horror you felt? Running from an enemy, and out of ammo, knowing that you were ruined with one hit? You now have a health bar, which can be made ridiculously large, AND retries. Not to mention checkpoints. I did enjoy the respawning ammo though. My aim is horrid, and I ran out mighty quick in the first game. When it comes right down to it, the game is so easy, I find more of a challenge in tying my own shoes. I won't spoil anything, but that final boss? Feel free to hold your breath. I beat the game twice in maybe 5 hours.
It seems that the two games were at the ends of a spectrum, with one being extremely difficult, the other lacking any difficulty whatsoever. I can only dream of a third that would nail it right in the middle (And I want female characters darn it!)

A fun sequel to a game we loved, but not much on its own. Three out of five.

Although it only has a few REALLY fun moments, this game is fun in general and is awesome co-operative play.

There's a lot of hand holding in the first couple of missions, but after you get past that, this game is fun every step of the way. Not really the best game I've ever played, (That goes to Rayman Legends) but it is a good game, and I recommend this to anyone looking for a family friendly game.

Works on XB360.
