VOD once again shines,

After leaving Roadrunner records awhile ago, many people thought that would be the last of this awesome band. Rumors swirlled around that they had broken up all over the internet. The truth is they hid in seclusion and worked on this set of songs for 2 years in a very cheap studio. And damn....I would wait another 3 years for this set. While the band has dropped it's goal in making your ears bleed, diving into a more ambient sound but they have also retained the intensity that makes them well..VOD. They have said that this album was heavily inspired by Soundgarden and Black Sabbath (not a bad thing at all) and it shows. The songwriting from Tim is better than it ever has, each song is packed with emotion. While the guitars aren't as thrashy as before but are much more complex. Listen to the song Waiting You to directly see that. Their drummer (can't remember his name at the moment) is still the only drummer that can compete with Danny Carey from Tool. The best tracks on the album are Living to Die, Southbound, Pretty Hate, Itchin' to Bleed, and Walking the Line. All in all this is a band that everyone has to check out. If your sick of all the rapmetal polluting the airwaves and want the best Rock has to offer here you are.

Vision of Disorder has sharply departed from thier hardcore roots and is flexing thier artistic muscles on this record. Although many fans enjoyed the energy and aggression of previous albums the band thinks thier old style was worn out and while once revolutionary is now stale. They have produced an album while ear friendly is lacking in energy and insite.

I thought it was an excellent cd. i think it is different from their other albums. There is more singing on this one which definitely adds to the album. It's a change but a nice one. I definitely recommend picking it up. They still have that their awesome sound.

this cd is amazing! it's filled with powerful grooves and riffs that will knock you down. the vocals are great too...perfect mixture of singing/screaming.their other cds are great, especially their self-titled, but this cd tops them all. it's vod progressing to yet again another level. all the power to 'em. PICK UP THIS ALBUM!!

THIS ALBUM ROCKS!!...VOD HAS COME SO FAR SINCE THE RELEASE OF STILL...THIS ALBUM IS ALL NEW AND ALL GOOD...NOT BUYING THIS WOULD BE A CRIME....FROM TRACK ONE ALL THE WAY THROUGH TO THE END...VOD TAKES YOU ON A WILD RIDE FILLED WITH EVERY TYPE OF EMOTION...BUY EVERY VISION OF DISORDER ALBUM!!

Its ok but not their best,

This is a pretty good album, buts its no imprint. Its different because there is alot more actual singing than screaming which i would rather prefer, but in all its its worth picking up if ur into vod.
