5.0 out of 5 stars best I have used, July 12, 2010

I am not blessed with the thinnest or lightest hair on my legs, and often have had to shave every other day to keep my hair at a minimum. A few years ago hair minimizing lotions became the rage and I used the lotions from Avon and from Curel. After a long time using them I was reduced to shaving once a week, but ever so slowly it's been growing back faster.

With no other product on the market I was a bit tentative of trying Get Out Of Hair! I am so glad I did. I shaved and then applied the lotion. 24 hours later my legs were as smooth as if I had just shaved. It says it's fragrance free but to me it has a very light floral scent. It's probably from the narcissus tazetta bulb extract. I can't say whether or not it helps to reduce the appearance of the hair, but after a few days of use my legs are amazingly smooth, free from hair and from the moisturizer. I do tend to have a problem with ingrown hairs, especially around my knees, so hopefully it will prove to help with that as well.

Over all, I can say I have found a product I am going to stick with, and I hope they keep around for a long time. It sure will make summer easier!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not so much..., March 17, 2011

After using a tube (rather small for the money, I might add) it had no effect as advertised. I really didn't even find it to be a very good moisturizer, either. It also had a menthol/camphor smell that I didn't like. I really wish Aveeno would bring back their Positively Smooth Moisturizing Lotion. That stuff worked!

OK, so I was a little leary trying this at first, but I am so glad I did. Not only does it do what it claims, it's light, fresh scent is great after showering. When used on legs and bikini area, hair growth IS slower and when it does come back, it is softer - not stiff stubble & rough :) Also prevented "razor bumps" & ingrown hairs as well. Great porduct!
