I love this calendar. It would make me smile every day. It is filled with all Trixie's wisdom from her book of the same name and has a little picture of her on every page. What's not to love?
Trouble is, I don't have a desk. Ok, I have a desk somewhere under the clutter, but the only available nearly flat surface is computer keypad. Can't put calendar there.
Will have to give calendar to friend who also loved the book and works in an office where I'm sure she has room for this calendar and will love it. But that means I don't get to love it myself. Very sad. Been reading Trixie's book and calendar too much. Starting to write like her. Could be worse. Could have not seen Trixie's book or calendar. Would write better, but would not be smiling.

I love Sharon's review. I also have desk with little space, but will try to make space for Trixie's calendar. I love Trixie and have a Golden who looks like her - so much so that I may have to start reading Mr. Koontz's other books (I'm a scaredy-cat.) Thanks for sharing her with the world, Mr. Koontz. Trixie was (is!) wonderful! Anyone who hasn't read the books, should. They are uplifting and sorely needed in today's cynical world.

I expected the usual day calendar--a cute doggie picture and a bit of doggie wisdom. This is a black and white format, all words (good ones, but not "cute") and on very thin recycled paper. I would not give it as a gift.

What a waste of paper and ink. Besides Trixie's assenine pearls of doggie wisdom, the only thing we get are thumbnail sized b&w pictures of Trixie(?) or some other golden retriever in different poses that repeat themselves every few pages or so. No pictures of cute little golden puppies doing cute little golden puppy things or anything even remotely interesting about Trixie or goldens in general. I got this for a dollar in the bargain bin. I can see why.
