Shape is so helpful!
Just a dif shape can be a big help with bowls! So glad I bought these! I use every one of them, too!

lovely bowls, wish they were microwave safe
These are lovely bowls, very comfortable to use. At the same time, they are NOT microwave safe-- be sure you avoid putting them in the microwave! When one of them was microwaved for less than a minute, it was too hot to touch, it cracked, and had to be pitched. As long as you remember that they are not microwavable, you'll enjoy using them.

$50 for a plastic bowl set?,

You would have to either be mad or a Nigella stalker to spend $50 on a plastic bowl set that's not even microwaveable! Just a cursory glance in a restaurant supplier today turned up exactly the same shaped bowls in a set of four (that you can use in a microwave) for $32. They were white, not cream, but I have no urge to line the pockets of a celebrity chef profiteering from their name.
