I use Marina Raye's music in my yoga classes and I find it perfect to create an atmosphere of introspection and harmony. The peaceful sound of the flute stills the mind without effort.
And, contrary to some of the other cd's I own, the high pitched tone of the flute never becomes boring or irritating.
There are no big differences in melody or rythm between the tracks, which makes this cd very suitable for a yoga class.

Marina Raye's "Blissful Journey" was introduced to me in a massage session. Its soothing, healing, uplifting quality made it a CD I wanted for my own. Since acquiring "Blissful Journey," I have collected all of Marina's recordings and eagerly look forward to each new one. Her simple, pure sound is excellent for meditation. It is also a favorite with guests as background music.

"Blissful Journey" is well named. It's such wonderful music to unwind with after a stressful day. It's soft and melodic, beautiful throughout, therapeutic; we are grateful to have this music in our collection.

If you are looking for music to play in the background while you work, read or concentrate then this is a great cd - the music is very calming and peaceful and easy to listen to over and over again. If you're looking for music to play while you meditate or sit quietly and contemplate your being - your world - your place on this earth - this music is perfect for that as well. Blissful Journey is a perfect and wonderful title for it as that is exactly the image it provokes. You won't be disappointed in this cd.

Blissful Journey has been a blessing to me. There is something magical in the way listening to this amazing CD shifts my mind. I play it daily while I am at work and it has helped me to stay centered and peaceful.

When people pass my office they always come in and ask what I have playing.

I was introduced to Marina Raye's amazing work via my Mother who is a medium and uses her CD Synchronicity to mediate to. We decided to purchase six of her wonderful CDs, Heart of The Mother, Earth Ascending, Synchronicity, Wolf Sister, Being Peace, Synchronicity (had to have a spare copy!) and Blissful Journey. I have listened to all the CDs and every single one is absolutely stunning! Blissful Journey is my favorite as it has a haunting beauty that has the ability to transfer a listener to a higher plane. (Well, at least that is what it did to me!) Well done Marina! Your wonderful musicality evokes peace and light. Long may your talent continue to shine!

I love to put this CD on when my husband and I are driving for an extended time. It truly makes the journey much nicer. Nothing really seems to matter when playing Marina's music. I love it all!

From the first owl hoot to the last quivering breath of her deep and resonant F#, marina raye transports the spirit into new dimensions on her Blissful Journey. Marina is truly unique among native american style flautists. She leaves behind the chirps and whoops of fancy fingering to use her own breath to hold and sustain you peacefully in "the best vibrato in the business". She breathes deeply to play, and so you do, too when you listen. She lets notes linger in the air, shivering slowly and peacefully. I guarantee, this will put you into a state of deep relaxation and meditation faster than any other CD!
