This game is great. The original was a lot of fun but they have added so much to the second installment of Blitz: The League. Better graphics, more broken bones, and auto-training are just a few of the improvements fom last year. Great multiplayer mode. Overall a great game which i highly recommend to everyone. You won't be dissapointed.

Blitz the league 2 is a great game! I can't say how it is compared to the previous installments as I have never played them, but this is awsome. The broken bones! The carnage! It's great! better the madden by a mile! However the campaign mode leaves some to be desired. you can totally costomize your team which i like, but the games themselves. The compuetr gets far too many injuries on you. or I havem;t figured the best way to injure players yet. Two player mode is the best. This would be an excellent part game! the quarters are short wich greatly shorten the game and allow more games to be played. my brother and i played it the day we bought it for around 6 hours...it's addicting!

First off the game is outstanding. This game beats any madden game out there. Thats my opinion but its true to me. The graphics are not the best but are really good for the kind of game it is. The campaign is not all that great but still really exiciting. Its even better if you get an undefeated streak like me. Anyway the injuries are really cool. Way better than the first, they are way more realistic than just a bone cracking or a little picture of a torn ACL, but when you do something cool and you want to see it again the replay it isn't always the same thing but most of time it is. I'd highly recommend this game as a good choice of a hardcore football game. :)

FIRST OF ALL THIS VIDEO GAME IS FOR ADULTS ONLY! I PLAYED "BLITZ I" AND ENJOYED IT, AND I HAVE RECENTLY FINISHED AND ENJOYED "BLITZ II" ..... GRAPHICS AND SOUND ARE GREAT, AND OVERALL THIS SEQUEL GAME IS THE SAME AS "BLITZ I". I DIDN'T LIKE THE "SURE SOUNDS ALOT LIKE MADDEN" STUPID COMMENTARY AND TURNED IT OFF, WHICH TURNED OFF THE MAIN "PLAY BY PLAY", WHICH I DID MISS! IT SEEMED LIKE THERE WERE TO MANY INJURIES HAPPENING ON JUST ABOUT EVERY OTHER PLAY, WHICH BROKE THE CONCENTRATION OF MY GAME PLAY, AND BECAME A FRUSTRATION. ANOTHER FRUSTRATION, RESETTING SHOULDER SEPERATION INJURIES AND THE SUCH ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO SNAP BACK INTO PLACE, AND MY KEY PLAYERS WERE ALWAYS OUT FOR 10 PLAYS! I FOUND THIS GAME (AS BLITZ I) TO BE CHALLENGING IN FIGURING OUT THE KEY PLAYS TO BEAT MY OPPONENT FROM THE GAME PLAY SELECTION, ESPECIALLY AT "DIVISION 1" LEVEL. I COMPLETED THIS GAME AND I'M PLAYING IT AGAIN, AND IT IS NO EASIER THE SECOND TIME AROUND!! HEY, IT'S NO RULES, NO PENALTIES BACK STREET ANYTHING GOES FOOTBALL FORMED INTO A LEAGUE RUN BY CROOKED OWNERS AND NASTY CHEAP SHOT FOOTBALL PLAYERS LIKE STAR LINEBACKER "BRUNO BATTAGLIA" OF THE L.A. RIOT, WHAT ELSE COULD YOU ASK FOR! FIX THESE PROBLEMS I HAVE MENTIONED, AND I WOULD GIVE THIS VIDEO GAME A 5 STAR RATING! OVERALL, GIVE YOUR "MADDEN NFL GAMES" TO YOUR TEENAGERS, AND ENJOY SOME "ADULT AND RAW FOOTBALL" FOR A CHANGE! this game is a must for anyone i cant stop playing it even after a month seriously if you enjoy a little blood and a good story line this is for you

It was fun at first but gets bored after a while. In addition, the controlling of this game/play is very weird compared to other games.

I love this game on the PS2, so I had to get it for the PS3 and was not disappointed. Overall the game has the same look and feel, but the new hitting dynamics gives it an extra boost. Really cool when you hit and damage the opponent.

Fun and very good game over all. If you like the old school arcade Blitz games then your will love this one!

Blitz: The League II is a much simpler and far less technical version of football compared to Madden. I like the game for what it is, which is to say that it is very fun to play and quite funny. The sexual inuendo, the suggestive themes, and the cheating/use of drugs is a cool and hard-edged alternative to the clean & proper Madden series. This is not a game that youngsters should play; and if you hate cheating AI (especially in campaign mode) then you might want to give this game a pass. I'm just a guy who likes my football any way I can get it. I play both Madden and Blitz II on a reguler basis and plan to do so for the foreseeable future.
