The blizzard of '88 was certainly a tragedy of epic proportions. Personal accounts of this rogue storm have survived to this date, passed down through the generations by families and friends, and now to us through this well written book. Individual accounts of the storm, acts of bravery, compassion, suffering, and despair, are woven throughout the book. These stories, accompanied by actual photographs taken during the storm, breath fresh life back into this event and make this book enjoyable and informative reading for the young and old alike.
