Editorial Reviews

2012 release from the Hip Hop heavyweight, the first in a series of three volumes of The Block Brochure: Welcome To The Soil series, which were all released simultaneously. Bay area rapper/businessman E-40's influential career has helped form the identity of West Coast Rap and the Hyphy scene in particular. Although he has not had the profile of some of his contemporaries, he is highly respected within the industry.

4.0 out of 5 stars classic e-40 July 25, 2012
Format:MP3 Music|Amazon Verified Purchase
this album is nice, classic E-40 always giving you a bunch off songs for a good price. This cd has a bunch of songs that are great not just the single function.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Ambassador of da bay! March 11, 2013

Block Brochure...a musical tour through the mind of the Grit and Grinder himself. The album's three parts are a progressive adventure into Slapville!

3.0 out of 5 stars Great album bad scratched cd January 12, 2013
Format:Audio CD|Amazon Verified Purchase
Mad because about four to five songs skip. The album is great though.i encourage folks to buy the cd. I'm not sure about the person who previously had it. It was supposed to be "like new".

I tried to like this dude but i really dont see what people like about his rapping. He's simply garbage and sounds like hes rapping while gargling mouthwash.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth buying.
E-40 still has it. I bought this CD for the song Function, but I ended up liking most of the CD. If you're an E-40 fan, then you should pick this up.

2.0 out of 5 stars It is typical E-40 but nothing is memorable...
E-40 is back with another group of albums and the formula stays the same...practically exactly the same. I am not too sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing though. Read more

It was everything I expected with all the slappin beats, features and lyrics. I keep this music on my ipod and bump it everywhere I go.
