don't know what the other reviews are about. album is legit. b-legit doesnt disappoint on his delivery on any track. 3rd verse of "sic wid it" is off the hook, flow matches tha beat perfectly. almost all songs are solid. sum of the appearance are weak but b-legit comes strong the whole album. "trap game" beat is sick along with others

This is a pretty good album from B-Legit. The only problem I have is that it sounds more like a dirty south album than a west coast album. If you don't like dirty south rap, than don't buy this. Otherwise it's pretty good, my only other complaint is that he did a song with that Eminem wannabe Paul Wall. Other than that is a good CD worth listening to.

3 years since his last solo album, B-Legit returns with one slightly better than that one - a solid 3.5 star album. It has 16 songs, 6 are good, 1 I skip, and the other 9 are ok. Guests, like his last album, are on a lot of the songs (about 2/3 of them), and most are ones I don't really care much for which makes me like the album a little less then I would have. Production is decent (and mostly from people I never heard of other then 2 or 3 of them), and fits his style pretty good but has to many songs that sound like southern beats. Goldfingerz and Bedrock each do 4 songs, Lionel Holoman does 3, Rick Rude, Swamp Kat, Damon Todd, Mall, and One Drop Scott all do 1 song. For his fans a good one to pick up but not near his best work.

For those who forgot, B-Legit aka The Savage was supposed to retire after his album "Hard To B-Legit" didn't get the sells it deserved. However, at some point, B-Legit changed his mind and decided to give the solo thing one more try. However, this album shows a BIG change in B-Legit's style. While his previous albums were straight West Coast, with that Bay Area sound, "Block Movement" is more of a Dirty South album. Most of the beats are straight Southern, many of them sound like Lil Jon beats. To my surprise, than musical change REVIVED B-Legit, and suddenly he sound much more agressive, and energized than on his previous two albums. In fact, B-Legit's verses are the best he's done since his classic "Hemp Museum". Over those hard-hitting southern beats, B-Legit sounds just right. His voice is one of the coldest on the industry, and when he's agressive he just tears the song appart with his vicious flows... Lyrically, most of the album is much more gangsta than "Hempin'" and "Hard to B-Legit". The guest list is also nice, and guests featured include E-40 & Levitti (of course), Keek Da Sneak, Harm, Jadakiss, Styles P, Paul Wall. Producers include Rick Rock, One Drop Scott (perhaps the only West Coast beats are provided on their songs), and a few unknown producers that create the Southern beats (which are on the same level as Lil Jon's I think). Most of the songs are gangsta, OG sh**, a bit about killin', a bit about flossin'... The only reason this album didn't get 5 or 4.5 stars, is that there a few songs for the ladies, and they're kinda weak (except the song with Levitti "Kick It Tonight" which is great). Overall, this a great album for B-Legit fans. However, if you don't like Dirty Sounth beats, you won't like the album, although B-Legit drops a tight performance.

this cd is nothing compared to what blegit was back in the day. hes rapping with paul wall now? i have lost a little respect for one of my favorite bay area artists. go buy hempin aint easy
