This is a really good maxi-single, it contains the radio mix of "The Block Party" which is similar to the album version, and a totally hot remix that's even better then the original, the REMIX should of been the original! (The original one's still good though.) It also includes two really good non-LP songs: the rock-ballad "Friends" and a totally phat song called "Tampered With" which I really like for more reasons than just one. The credits say Shamari Fears of Blaque appeared in this song, but I didn't hear her. This a single well worth buying if you're a Left Eye fan like me. I'm the only American who seems to have a good taste of music. You Americans are the reason why the U.S. release date of her solo LP Supernova is being held back, because it is feared it won't be a success here. That's pretty astonishing that Left Eye's more popular in Europe than in North America considering Lisa's American herself. The problem is so many American rap fans are still meddling around with artists that do nothing but rap about [...women] and ice which is getting pretty old. Unlike so many rappers today, Lisa Lopes's music and lyrics are actually intelligent and sending out realistic, positive messages. Luckily I was able to find an import of Supernova and I LOVE it!...**I am very saddened by the news about this wonderful girl's too-early transition to heavenly peace. firstly, i really love left eye, words cannot possibly express how much i miss her, as for this CD, i love it! here is a run through of the tracks

1. The Block Party - 5 stars - good party song, if u wanna dance then i recommend this song for u

2. The Block Party [Dallas Austin Remix] - 5 stars - like i said before its a good party song, this remix has an extra verse that wasn't in the original and its PHAT!!! however the music is a little different

3. Friends - 5 stars - very powerful ballad, good message, anybody out there who think you dont have any friends, i recommend this song to u, it will completely flip your life around

4. Tampered With - 5 stars - another very powerful ballad, i used to get caught up with one bad moment and let it ruin my life, until i heard this song, if youre one of these people then u should hear this song. it'll completely change your life

This is a great CD, if u wanna learn more about your life, buy this CD and explore the lyrics. i definitely have changed
