My two year old had the dreaded tubes in her ears. So for her summer fun, we need ear plugs. Tried the silicone, she hated that, and we found these and thought we found the solution. We measured as stated, got them here, and they fit great. But once we hit the pool, constant in and out. The connecting strap is garbage. it just pulls them out. So we clipped that, and they still fall out and just were not what i hoped. Just never felt like I got a good seal for here ears. Great seller, just not the right product for us.

I made a mistake when ordering these earplugs not realizing that they were vented. However I did find them useful as they do allow equalization of pressure when submerged under water. They will allow a bit of water to enter the ear canal, however I found it to be acceptable. If you need total protection from water entering the ear, then you need to order the NON-VENTED type.

I use the vented pair for snorkeling. Every year, I travel to the Caribbean to snorkel for 10 days - every day. Before I started using these, after about 3 days of snorkeling/free diving, my ears would be killing me - constantly filled with water and eventually infected. These are great. Yes, the vented ones get some water in your ear, but it's not enough to ever make a difference. You need to make sure you get the right size, and if you do, they'll stay in no matter what happens. You also need to make sure you put them in correctly, and you need to make sure there isn't any hair getting in the way. My only problem with them is that the clear ones are extremely easy to lose on the beach. I always bring two pairs, and I always lose one pair by the time a week has gone by!

I bought them for whitewater kayaking at a paddlers' shop, and had them advise me about the size, but still, they would never stay in. Just lost them yesterday, so will try something different. Maybe my ears don't have the right shape for this design? Kept rereading the directions about how to put them in, but never seemed to get them in right--possibly my fault, but might that also mean the design's too complicated?

These ear plugs were purchased because my 4 year old daughter had to have tubes in her ears. She loves to swim in the summer. Growing up I had to wear them also and these were the brand my parents got me. They are exactly as I remember them. I have no problems with her letting me put them in her ears. she tells me they are "comfy" and don't hurt her ears. I would recommend these to anybody who has to wear them!

description of the product said it came with leash. i had a pair of these and unfortunately lost them in water. i really think they are a good solution to protect my ear from cold water and windy days. however it is neccesary to have leash to avoid leaving them behind on water.
the description of this product said it came with leash when it didn't. a bit dissappointed about this.
