This review is from: Blockbender Quilts (Paperback)
I confess -- I love this book. I especially love the way the authoress makes quilts that "bend" without using a curve. Yep, that's what I said, "NO CURVED SEAMS!" The bending is an illusion made by different widths of blocks. How cool is that? It is fascinating and it will take some time to absorb the instructions and design your own quilt but it is definitely a book that should be on the shelf of every quilter who finds themselves ready to explore new and unusual territory. You could do these quilts for a year and still not have explored all there is to explore with this technique. In a fit of generosity I gave my copy to a sister-quilter. Then I had to buy another copy. I missed it in my quilting library.
