Product Description

High definition - HD sunglasses with bifocals are available from 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 or 3.0 reading powers. HD lens sunglasses filter out the blue light in the UV spectrum, which causes haziness; leaving a clearer and crisper view. HD vision, also called Blue Blocking lens is great for motorcycle riding and driving to reduce glare from windshields and chrome bumpers. Since HD glasses provide high color contrast, they are also popular to use for golf, tennis, baseball, run, cycle, hike, fish or just lounge by the pool. Lenses are ANSI Z.87.1 safety rated polycarbonate lenses with UV 100 protection. Although perfect for men, the Puma is a slightly smaller frame; and one of our most popular bi-focal readers with ladies. Fits SMALL to MEDIUM heads - very versatile frame. FREE microfiber cleaning case included for each pair!

Now, when driving in the convertible, I can glance down to easily see speed, radio controls, GPS, gauges, etc.

They make driving into the sunset possible; dim glare; tint the world mildly but beautifully; and the bifocals are amazingly good.

The nose guard is too wide and not adjustable so they sit to close to the eye where my eye lashes actually touch the lenses .

I LOVE these glasses. I have bi-polar II and use thee to block blue light in the evening. I have a small face, and the size small fits me perfectly! The other styles that are supposed to ft over your normal glasses are simply too big to stay on my face. With the perfect size and the bifocal, I actually want to wear them! And, they are not too dark to wear inside at night to block blue light and adjust circadian rhythms (unlike some other blue blocking sunglasses). These are perfect!

I would pay double the price for these glasses. I have ordered a second pair as a back up. I drive for a living, these work in so many ways, indoor, outdoor, and low lighting. They add a new and safe aspect to driving.

When I saw the product description for these glasses, I thought "hmmm...that sounds like something I could use." I am NOT a biker, but I do drive a convertible and spend a lot of time out in the sun. I ALSO pilot a UAV (a radio controlled quadcopter with a camera on it) commercially to shoot video for television and longform productions. I have a pair of actual "BluBlockers" brand sunglasses. I find myself putting a pair of 1.75 or 2.00 cheaters in front of them so I can look down at my monitor and controls then up at the quad. Sometimes I just go with the cheaters, no sunglasses and squint as I try to follow the copter in the air.

These glasses solved ALL of my problems. I bought two pairs and keep one in my quadcopter case to make sure I have them when I do a shoot. Now, when driving in the convertible, I can glance down to easily see speed, radio controls, GPS, gauges, etc. If I stop to check a map or make a phone call I don't have to go digging around for my cheaters or swap out the sunglasses with the magnifying specs. I just keep these on. With no squinting I can glance down and see whatever I need to see then I'm back on the road.

Take note...these are NOT "BluBlocker" brand sunglasses. They do a very good job with glare removal and I don't find myself squinting with them...but I do notice a difference between these and my "BluBlocker" brand sunglasses. Colors are a little different and there is some slight eyestrain after hours of wear that I don't get with my "BluBlockers". These are very good sunglasses...and the bifocal makes them my go-to glasses anymore...but they aren't quite "BluBlockers".

These are an outstanding value and a VERY usable product.

These work great as a multipurpose tool. I can ride motorcycle day and night, and still see instrumentation-small details. Works great for working on handyman projects in the sun going from climbing a ladder and then to cutting in close quarters.
CONS. They have little rubber ear cushions on the frame that can slip off and get lost.

I really, really, really wanted to like these glasses. Really! I have used them several times and have struggled to like them. Why? Well, because there really is something to this "blue blocking" technology. I have f.lux installed on my laptop and Twilight installed on my Android tablet. I found that both made a difference right away. I found that my sleep was much improved. However -- and this is a big however -- Twilight doesn't work when I am reading Kindle books on my tablet. I have not found a blue blocker program for my Blackberry Z10 and chances are, even if I could find one, it would not work when I am reading Kindle books on my Z10. I like to read in bed at night and these glasses would be much better for my sleep. So, here is the problem: these glasses are bifocals and the magnifying portion for each lens is small. It is placed in an odd location at the bottom of each lens making reading extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I had high expectations, but I think this pair of glasses must go back.

I recently had cataract surgery as well as having the beginning stages of macular degeneration. I need a good pair of blue blocker sunglasses for the MD, and I need the reading portion due to the recent surgery. These work beautifully. I ordered them with a 2 magnification in the reading portion, and they work fine. The only small concern I have is getting used to the bifocal portion while going for a walk in the woods/country. The line that you see makes a distortion that could cause a person to trip because of not seeing the ground clearly. I took my first walk with them this morning, and hope I get more used to this situation after another walk or two.

These are pretty well made and work great for me. I ride a dual-sport motorcycle and often lead our off-highway group if we are going into unknown territory. The 1.5 boost lets me see my handlebar mounted Monterra GPS easily and I don't have to switch glasses so most navigation I can do on the fly without having to stop. Also it is easy to grab the iPhone and look something up without changing glasses. I like the plastic frames because I am afraid of a helmet strike onto metal framed glasses. I delayed writing a review because I wanted to see how these would hold up. Other plastic framed bifocal sunglasses I used did not have a wrap around frame. Often the single frame at the top would become overstressed being pushed into and out of the helmet and I would get a frame failure (busted plastic) after a couple of months of use. These have been fine so far and are much sturdier with the full wrap around frame. Optics are not Oakley quality, but they are not uncomfortable to wear and stay on your head if you are making some quick moves. They seemed a little pricey for what they are, but haven't found anything comparable. I wish they would make some in clear I could use for night riding. I would totally recommend these to friends.
