Great Blog for Book Lovers,
By Cindy V "Cindy" (WOODRIDGE, ILLINOIS United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Blogcritics.org Books (Kindle Edition)
I have tried many blogs for the free trial and prefered reading the info from my PC. However, this Blog I decided to subscribe to because it gives great reviews on many different types of books. I have found several books I would not have known about since I read mostly mysteries. Reviews are very interesting and you get a good feeling of what the book is about.Cindy

I really like this blog,
This review is from: Blogcritics.org Books (Kindle Edition)
I try different blogs and watch them for the 14 day free trial and only keep those I like.I like this blog a lot. They review a wide range of books: childrens, comics, mysteries, etc and have a wide range of reviewers. These are not reviews indulging in "serious social commentary" they are reviews by people who like to read and like to intelligently tell us about the books they've enjoyed. You get, for example, a Christian novel reviewed by a someone described as a "Christian mother." I'm not a Christian, but the review was fairly written and made me think that, even with a different outlook then the author, I might like the book. I don't read comics, but the review of a comic was a good read. My only complaint, and only because I get this delivered on my Kindle, is that the reviewers don't tell us if the book has been Kindled. If you want a hard look at modern life and books torn to shreds, don't look here. But if you want to know what books you might actually enjoy, you'll find some interesting reviews and some good reads.

Didn't deliver,

I had subscribed to this blog for over a month and really enjoyed it. All of a sudden it stopped updating - the last time it updated was April 27 and there has been nothing since so I cancelled the subscription. I contacted Amazon last week but so far no answer as to what happened. It's too bad because I enjoyed it. All my other subscriptions have been updating so who knows what happened?

Perfect reading during your morning coffee break,

This review is from: Blogcritics.org Books (Kindle Edition)
Drawn from the "Books" section of the Blogcritics Magazine web site (a site that both publishes original material and compiles writing from around the web), the "Blogcritics.org Books" blog presents for your reading pleasure about 15 or so book reviews whenever you turn on your Kindle. Several times during the course of the day, one or two of the older reviews will drop off and be replaced by one or two new reviews. You get all types of reviewers (amateur, professional, semi-professional) and all types of reviews (genre works, literary fiction, biographies, technical manuals, etc.), resulting in an engaging variety of outlooks and subject matter. If you've enjoyed discovering different types of books on your Kindle, this inexpensive blog will further permit you to expand your Kindle horizons. Fun, relaxing, and informative... what more could you want?Note: Amazon frequently updates the presentation and functionality of Kindle blogs and periodicals, so as this review gets older, it may no longer accurately describe the current version of this product. |
