I'm glad I didn't pay for it but sorry I wasted a KDP download. The whole book (and I use the term lightly as it was more of a pamphlet) was a quick rundown of the author's websites, his blogs, his posts, and his sponsors. It was mostly links to external sources, along with a bunch of nonsense content. He starts out by telling you that you have to make a hundred posts and twenty guest blogs before you'll get any traffic. He says you'll have to put all your time into blogging and won't make any money for about a year. He says to sign up for a whole bunch of social networking sites but he doesn't explain them. He just lists them. And toward the end, he claims he's given you a wealth of information (huh?) but if you want to know more, go to his website. If you haven't picked up on it, that's how he makes money, by leading people to other sites. I have two blogs, and I agree that social networking is the key to driving traffic and traffic is the key to ad income. When I downloaded this book, I was looking for something more in-depth, more informational, maybe a secret or two to improve my blog income. I didn't expect to find a self-promotional list of fluff. I also think the author could have used all that great blogging income to hire an editor. It's a little embarrassing to see someone who supposedly makes a living as a writer not know the difference between to, too, and two. Sorry for such a negative review. I'm just disappointed in the lack of useful information and feel like I'd just been spammed.

This short book is a quick read and does give a little bit of information, but I was still surprised that it has not one or two but 14 5-star reviews. a closer look reveals that 10 of those 14 reviews were posted on / around Sept 16th! Looks like one of the ways for blogging for income is to write an eBook about it and then post some reviews (or have a friend post it) using synthetic IDs! None of those 16 reviews have the "real name" badge!

This book is currently at the top of eCommerce books which is surprising. if you're looking for a good read in eCommerce category, I recommend Inside the Giant Machine: Confessions of a Former Amazon.com Technologist

I don't recommend this book at all, it's written in a very poor manner and has very little interesting information, if any at all. If you are looking for a good book about blogging, I recommend you ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income, a much better choice!

Brandon Connell (1981) born in Port Charlotte, Florida and grew up in Chicago. Before 2002, Brandon was homeless. He taught himself how to invest in real estate, and how to design and market websites. Since 2002, he has been self employed, working entirely from home. He became a self published author in 2011, as well as a full time blogger. Brandon's first works included how-to financial books, and he is currently working on a fiction novel series, which is set to be published in 2012.
