Mega Bloks Halo Wars Covenant Ghost

Bought about a month ago; has stood up to play well. Blocks stick together most of the time and my son enjoys playing with it.

8 year old son got this as a bd gift. It went back to the store after about 30 minutes of frustration. Pieces don't stay together at all. Clerk mentioned MB halo toys come back all the time.

We bought several of the Halo sets for our sons 8th birthday. This definately isn't Lego quality. The pieces are lower quality, don't fit together right and fall apart easily. The engineering behind the construction doesn't match Lego either - there is no reinforcement for support or durability - these sets fall apart easily which can be frustrating to kids that want to actually play with them. On the plus side the characters are a big hit with the playground crown - that they are one piece is a bonus.

Might i say it has an AWESOME color scheme here are the pros and cons. pros: first of all the color scheme is fantastic, the figures are very cool and have amazing detail, the particle beam weapon is cool, and the stickers and the guns at the front are cool to. cons: the grunt figures are smaller than in the game and they can barely hold the particle beam. overall a GREAT toy.

These do not compare to legos at all in quality. My son only rates them as a fun value of 4 b/c he loves Halo not the blocks.

This is a retired building kit and will soon be available only on the secondary market. I snapped up one from Amazon. The kit is 72 pieces with four figures. The Ghost is a scout vehicle and used in raids. It is a one-man transport akin to the UNSC Mongoose.
This is NOT an easy build. The instructions are not complicated but assemblies kept falling off. Additionally, a block appears that the instructions never placed and is not included in the box. Another drawback is the three Grunts. They are unarmed making them useless on the battlefield. Weapons for the Grunts are not common in the HALO kits making this hard to correct.
Overall, I feel this should be a $10 to $15 item. You need to be a serious HALO collector to pay more than that for this kit.

My son loves the whole product line. It is challenging for him at 10 years old. We often work on them together which makes it great for bonding!

I had never bought Mega Bloks that were small like this before. I was impressed with the quality of the blocks. The instructions were a little confusing, but they usually are with these block building sets.

I was disapointed when my grandson open package for his Christmas gift and pieces where missing, had to go out and buy another one for him.

I purchased several Halo Wars building sets. These sets are played with daily. I love that this can compete with
all the electronic gadgets in his room.
