Good quality construction and looks great too.

On another occasion simply re-inserting the 'spoon' broke the jar (obviously a bit too much pressure).

I was looking for a good honey dispenser to keep on my kitchen counter.

When you fill it too much to the top as you can see in the photo the "stick" part also gets
covered with honey so it will be dripping from top to bottom.

The rim is almost the same size as the silicone spoon so you have to be REALLY careful to not
touch any of the rim pulling it out VERY slowly and when you do mess up and touch the rim
then you will have to wipe it clean or you will have to stick the cap into the stickiness and
next time you use it all that stickiness would be around the cap making a mess.

I love the look when there is no honey at the rim (which is nearly impossible) and the silicone spoon.
BUT if you are a heavy user this is not what you want. It's like playing that game when you were a kid
"Operation" where you try to get all the junk out of the body without touching the silver rim.
Yeah it even feels like that (heart pounding, hands shaking) EVERY time you use the honey....

Update: It's been a year and the silicone part has been holding up (the glass too)
But I gave up a LONG time ago to keep the lid and top part clean.
So this means it is gross and discussing to look at. That means this is something you want to use ONLY for
yourself and family. You do NOT want to have guests and have them use this unless you remember to wash it and fill
it up again before guests arrive. Although it will become sticky and gross again right after your guest uses it.
Just thought I'd update this information because if you're going to buy a $20 honey dipper wouldn't you want to
use it for your guests too? I mean look at the sleek cool appearance.
Anyway my guest wanted to use honey for tea but I had to lie and say we're out because I forgot to wash it.

I was really looking forward to this - several glowing reviews, etc. However, we're not too pleased with it: Yes, it's very attractive, but there are some significant flaws:

1. The handle is too large in diameter for easy twirling; they should've kept it the same size as the smaller metal part that sits in the jar.

2. It's impossible to use without dripping honey onto the lip of the jar, which then requires wiping and/or emptying, washing, and refilling the jar.

3. You can't fill it very far, or it makes a mess when you remove the wand; hence, the stated capacity is misleading.

The only time this looks good is right after it's been washed & refilled, so it's not very practical.

I was looking for a honey pot that could be sealed (no dirt settling in through a hole in the lid) and one that was glass so I could pop it in the microwave if the honey crystallized. This honey pot is a masterpiece of design. The lid is a soft silicone, so it's flexible and pulls off easily even when it's a little stuck to the glass with gooey honey, and it conforms to the glass when you put it back. The "spoon" is a little larger than most honey spoons. Beyond that, the pot just looks elegant. The only drawback is that I can't stop the spoon from dripping along the edge of the pot as I carry it over to dispense the honey, but that seems to be a problem with all spoons of this kind, and that flexible silicone solves the problem of the lid getting stuck as a result.

I was looking for a good honey dispenser to keep on my kitchen counter. After reading reviews on several products, I choose this one and I'm glad I did. Love the fact that it has a silicone "dipper" and not wood. The stopper keeps the honey covered tightly. The dispenser looks nice sitting out. So much easier than keeping honey in the original jar where you have to rinse the entire lid in hot water with every use. With this dispenser, it easy to wipe off any small spills on the outside with a paper towel.

I received the product and opened it up. It had the glass jar but did not have the silicon spoon. Disappointed to say the least. I can't easily find a contact form or e-mail on their page so I'll ask Amazon to exchange it. Wow, quality control.

Update: I contacted the company directly and they shipped me a brand new package. It contained the container and the lid with the silicon spoon. No questions asked. They just did it for me. Lets just say that a company that takes care of their customers is a company we need to cherish. So now I'm happy.

Good quality construction and looks great too. Thick glass and a sturdy handle make pulling out honey nice and easy. When the honey gets a bit thick, I heat up water in a sauce pot, drop in the glass jar, and in a few minutes the honey it is good as new.

I've used this at work for the last 2 weeks, and it works very well. It's fast for my 2 cups a day, and not messy. Exactly what I wanted- plus it looks good. Very easy and fast to refill also! Great idea!

this was a great find. attractive, functional and air-tight. the silicon cover keeps air and anything else out - the wand is great too - no drips and and you can control the amount you serve. I think it looks great on the table or counter top as well
