I purchased this set for my husband for Christmas. It's a beautiful, functional set with simple, but elegant design. The tools are well designed and more functional than fireplace tools we've had previously (ie. the shape of the shovel and the bend of the brush). However, the set is quite small - standing only 25" at the highest point - and substantially smaller than other sets we've owned. So if you need a massive look or feel, this is not the set.

Bought this item from Amazon and I thought it was a bit overpriced. Was I seriously going to consider paying that much for a fireplace tool? It's worth it. Well designed - modern - clean lines and well thought out -- a good example of form plus function.

I've had this set for about 5 years and am glad that I bought it in the first place. It's a great product for those of us who like clean, modern lines. And it sure looks and functions a lot better than my regular, run of mill set from the hardware store.

These look great and work equally as well. Sturdy and well crafted. If you are looking for a modern look, you can't miss with these. The solid German Stainless Steal also cleans up quickly and effortlessly.

This item works well with the decor of our home. Can you imagine having a modern home with modern stainless steel wood stove then having to use the typical old style black fireplace tools? Blomus solves this problem with their beautifully crafted and functional 5 piece tool set. The brush is offset making it easy to use for sweeping ash out from inside your stove. The log tongs work very well also and are built to last. Poker does get black from soot and heat but cleans up very easily with soap and water.

I have purchased other items from Blomus and all of their items are well built and totally functional for everyday use.

The tools all rack nicely on a stable stand with circular base and add a nice touch to any home that has a modern look. The whole set is about 24" high so it is not overly large and not too small for everyday use.

These tools are a little pricey but they are not cheaply built and from what I can tell they are built to last a lifetime.
