Product Description

YOU JUST CAN'T HIDE FROM THE PAST...

Mallory Sage lives in a small, idyllic town where nothing ever happens. Just the kind of life she has always wanted. No one, not even her fellow volunteer firefighters, knows about her past life as an agent for Homeland Security.

Former partner and lover, Trey McCrane, comes back into Mallory's life. He believes they made a great team once, and that they can do so again. Besides, they don't have much choice. Paul Stanley, a twisted killer and their old nemesis, is back.

Framed for a bombing and drawn together by necessity, Mallory and Trey go on the run and must learn to trust each other again―if they hope to survive. But Mallory has been hiding another secret, one that could destroy their relationship. And time is running out.

4.0 out of 5 stars ADRENALINE-PUMPING ACTION!, January 7, 2012
By
This review is from: Blonde Demolition (Kindle Edition)
What a superbly written story! The first page of the book skydives straight into explosive action and it continues right on from there - one heart stopping action scene after another. Now you might think that this sounds like something men would prefer to read, right? Well yes, and no. While a macho male lead, explosions, car chases, flying bullets and fight scenes, as well as the Lara Croft-like leading lady might well appeal to men, "Blonde Demolition' is actually a love story with all the ingredients us women want in a good romance.

So prepare yourselves ladies, as you're bound to fall in love with one of the hottest male characters I've ever come across in a book. Yep. He gives Edward Cullen a go for his money - I mean, we're talking ruggedly handsome here - not sparkly. The passion between Mallory and Trey (the two main characters) had my pulse beating out of control and left me short of breath. And that is only the start of it! I loved the adrenaline-pumping energy in this book and the sincerity of the characters - real down-to-earth people I could identify with.

The only "downside" to this fantastic read, was the few grammar mistakes scattered throughout the book; but as I was turning the pages as fast as I could to keep up with the suspense-laden events and red hot passion between the two main characters, I could easily overlook these little errors.

What else will you be getting out of this book? Solid dialogue that makes you feel part of the conversation and fast paced action that will leave you breathless; as well as an exceptional storyline and unforgettable characters, makes this a must read.

Chris Redding has just netted herself a brand new fan!
