One of the best electronic pop albums, November 12, 2005
This review is from: Blondie (Audio CD)
I bought this album about a year ago and it has been played as much as any CD I have bought in the last year. This CD is something of a classic for those who like germanic electronic pop with female vocals (e.g., Barbara Morgenstern). It is one of the favorites of both my kid (16 years old) and me. This is one of the best CDs I have purchased over the past several years.
Another review here talks of bad sound quality. I am not sure what the reviewer is talking about. Either I am less fussy or I am interpreting pops and clicks as part of the music the other reviewer is interpreting it as noise. Nobody who I have played this CD for has mentioned bad sound quality.

Very Solid, November 15, 2005
This review is from: Blondie (Audio CD)
In my first review, i mentioned how Ada - Blondie had potential, but was squandered by the terrible CD quality. Turns out, it was some strange occurance with my cd-rom-reader and headphone combination, as the problem has not been reproduced on any other system i've played the CD on. The actual sound quality is quite good.
Ada has a unique sound and a lovely voice, when she wants it to be. The only track i dont enjoy is track #6 i believe, where she repeats, "I like to drink, i like to smoke, etc." The beat and the lyrics just dont jive for me. Stand out tracks are #1 (after some getting used to), #4, and #9. Phenomenal.
Overall, if you're a fan of electronica and want to expand your horizon further, check this out and give it a few spins. You wont be dissapointed.

Amazing, April 10, 2009

Electronica at its best, 1 year after buying this album I constantly find myself scanning their page looking for another. If you like the works of 'thievery corporation', or the mellower 'lemon jelly' mixes this band is for you, I know it rules my itunes play count.
