Anya Bast lives in the country with her Belgian husband, their tornado toddler of a daughter, and more cats, dogs, and rabbits than is sane. Ever since she was a little girl, Anya has told stories (much to her mother's dismay). She's happy to finally be making a career out of it.

A native of one of the colder states, she loves to ice skate and watch hockey. She has fascination for crows, ravens and birds of prey. She enjoys the study of Eastern philosophy, Celtic myth, dreaming, and shamanism and occasionally incorporates what she learns into her paranormal stories. She works part time as a data base editor and French translator.

What happens if an Embraced meets an Other Kin Sidhe? It comes to a really explosive mixture.

Tiya is an Other Kin Sidhe, who seeks revenge against the Embraced who killed her whole family. Charlie is an Embraced. He meets Tiya while she is trying to kill Vincent, another Embraced. In the process she seriously injures Charlie. He is fascinated by her. Tiya also has feelings for Charlie but she can't accept them because for her all Embraced are enemies. Only when she learns to trust Charlie and he promises to help to find her families killers, can she follow her feelings.



Wow what a hot book! The scenes between Tiya and Charlie are really steamy and let's not forget the foursome scence. The combination of a Vampire and a Fae is really interesting, especially when both are as stubborn as Tiya and Charlie. Blood of an Angel is not only a story about Tiya's quest for revenge, but also one about being able to trust again.

I hope that at least two more Embraced books will come because Niccolo, as well as Adam, are scream for their own stories.

Anya Bast is really one of my favorites and rarely disappoints me. This book is no exception. I really enjoy her strong writing and spicy sex scenes. The only book in this series that is better is Niccolo's story (the book following this one). The hero is so strong and sexy. Loved both of these books. Highly recommended this entire series. However, the very first book is the weakest of the series (in my opinion I find that is often the case).

i love this series so much that this is one you can pull off of your self to rediscover a month or a year down the road. dont care for the childish covers but the story makes up for it
