Fans of Bon Iver's "For Emma" album will enjoy this LP as a great follow-up to the album. The musicality & themes of "Blood Bank" are close cousins of his first, but with this small group he takes a few surprising, successful risks that hopefully, dare we say, indicate what's yet to come...? If you are new to Bon Iver as an artist, though, I do recommend starting out with "For Emma" as an introduction.

Bon Iver makes some of the most moving music and this is no different. A short 4 track EP leaves you wanting more yet still feeling satisfied. Blood Bank is one of the best songs by the group in my opinion, it alone is worth $4.

I literally have a hard time not listening to the song Blood Bank multiple times in a row when it comes on. Amazing song. Makes the album. Not to mention Bon Iver is such a talent.

Excellent album. I like it almost as much as "For Emma, Forever Ago". It doesn't have the same feel on most songs, but has a few really great cuts.

I am a big Bon Iver fan, and this is a solid EP followup to the brilliant debut album. My only complaint is that the sound is really low.

Short and sweet, just the way to make a great album. Blood Bank is a great title track and good enough to enjoy over and over again.

Justin Vernon and Bon Iver are one of the few bands of this day that can produce a great full album - which makes the vinyl experience worth every turn. Justin randomly showed up at my best buddies bachelor party at Clancy's bar in Eau Claire, super chill dude, incredible poet, beautiful music.

I understand not everyone may love this cd or Bon Iver in general, but all I have to say is see him in concert, set close to the stage, get sucked in... the music is wonderful! I hope he comes out with a new cd soon!!! Looking forward to seeing him in Volcano Choir soon too.

This album is very fresh even though it's been out for a while. 4 songs and I can't help but keep from replaying it again and again. There's a sense of everything you could want from Justin Vernon on this short little take.

I didn't realize this was only a 4-track release, but it was worth it. I'm a fan of his second release (Bon Iver), and this was comparable in many ways. Refreshing.
