Ok- if you are a huge fan of indie type films like I am, and yes this includes movies that look like they were filmed with video camera, then you will love this.

I've purchased almost all of the Mill Creek 12 Movie packs. This is the best.

I normally like 3 to 4 movies in each 12 Movie collection. I like all but two of the movies in the Blood Bath collection. Solid scripts, solid acting. Exceptional for B movies which are often so bad they are laughable.

This collection is also a cut above in picture quality, compared to most Mill Creek packs. 11 of the 12 movies were originally released from 2004 to 2008. Very clear, DVD quality.

I'm sorry I bought this. I enjoy the occasional bad B horror movie that is fun to watch. Unfortunately, this doesn't fit the bill. Many of these movies were more soft core porn than horror or thrillers. Many made no sense at all. Those that did make sense were mediocre. Don't waste your money on this worthless collection of dull movies

This item gets three stars instead of one thanks to a single film which has some flaws but is a little gem.
First the bad: think of ever trite, ditsy, horror movie cliche, add just enough T&A , gore and dismemberment to qualify as torture porn and you have the ingredients of most of these efforts. Most of these films were stupidly boring or just so bad I gave up after 15-20 minutes. Of that bunch only Harvest of Fear & Uninvited would rate three stars.

However Shadows of the Dead would definitely rate five stars. A well made/crafted indie with an intriguing premise it's basically a
character-driven film about a relationship between two lovers who become thinking/feeling dead. Zombies with souls, if you will. Would I reccomend buying this collection just for 'shadows', maybe not. But if you can find it, perhaps under a different name (check out the IMDb.com database} it's probably a better choice. Or simply order Shadows of the Dead alone (at this time Amazon has it available used for a penny, but read those reviews carefully so you know what you're getting. This is not your typical horror movie and those who like most of the current genre will probably hate this flic.

The DVDs are two sided & on my copy you had to hunt for 'Shadows' as it was mislabeled on the CD. Other than that the quality of the DVD production and copying was excellent.

Yes, yet another review of a Mill Creek Entertainment product. This one differs in the simple fact that while these are "Low Budget", they are sveral steps up from the usual low budget fare that Mill Creek Entertainment puts out in their Multi-Packs & most of these low budget Gems are from accross the pond and were made in England/Europe.
I love these more than most, & not just because they are of the "Horror" genre. The feel & style of these films is far better than most. And while some don't take themselves that "Seriously", there still is a good quality about them. Like "Angst", while the content is a bit sophomoric, it is really morbidly funny. Or "Demonic" with Tom Savini, about a goup of Succubi (That is the plural of Succubus). Plus the film prints are far better than most.
If you would like a little something different & better, Blood Bath from Mill Creek Entertainment is it

There was not one movie in this lot that could be discribed as any form of entertainment it ranged from soft porn to some gross out hacking and slashing . The acting if you could call it that was at the same standard as the scripts. Don't say I didnt warn you, but having said that I have many worse in my collection.
