I was about to transfer my old VHS tape of this excellent movie into Final Cut Pro to create my own DVD, when I saw that this movie finally made it to DVD. This is one of the greatest movies of the 1970s, and aside from being one of Richard Gere's first major roles of his career (and one of his best performances), one cannot overlook the incredible performances of Tony Lo Bianco and Paul Sorvino. Highly recommended. I will add my thoughts on the DVD release after I view it.

I remember seeing this film when it came out and I never forgot it. Looked all over for a DVD and can't believe it hasn't been re-released. This film was way ahead of it's time and I think it's the best film Richard Gere ever made! I would love to see it on DVD, but it was great to find a good VHS copy.
