Cara J. Swanson published her first book, "Blood Cult: Book I of the Elvestran Chronicles," (written under the pseudonym "Cara J. Ebner") in May 2007, under her own label of Nighthawk/Raven Publishing.
A former Elementary school teacher, Cara Swanson has spent the last five years in the Air Force, both on Active Duty and as a Reservist. She met her husband, Shawn, while on temporary duty in Virginia and they currently live in California where she is stationed. They have two cats. When she is not busy working or writing, she enjoys reading, backpacking, cooking, and riding her motorcycle.
