There are some bands/albums that have a certain...color or spirit. A natural ambience. Every Ravenous release takes you to another place.. A place of GORE and ENTERTAINMENT. Not your typical Cannible Corpse, blast-fest..no, no. These guys are masters of "Sound Theatre." It's like listening to the soundtrack of horror! I'm not sure if it's the sampled obscure horror flicks, or the sound of Dan Lilker's bass guitar, or Killjoy's signature rotten vocals that melt razor blades, or the slow doomish tracks that suddenly errupt into a dirty thrash frenzy, but I can listen to any of their albums from cover to cover!
If you've never heard this band before, the sample playlist doesn't show give it justice. You REALLY need to hear these songs completely. You WILL NOT be disappointed. CHEERS and DARK BEERS!
