Review

"This compact paperback has quickly become the most valued and useful resource in my blood banking and immunohematology library. I recommend that you acquire a copy at your first opportunity... it is highly readable...you will not be able to stop until you reach the last page. There is no better value in any bookstore. Don't delay in treating yourself, your colleagues, and students to this fact-filled adventure.
--Gerald Sandler, MD in IMMUNOHEMATOLOGY
"...the end result is a book that should jostle for space on the bookshelf of everyone with even a casual interest in red cells and blood group antigens... every aspect of the red-cell membrane is covered, and its publication is timely considering that the majority of the major blood group antigens have now been defined at the molecular level."
--Transfusion Medicine
"The authors have packed an enormous amount of information into this book. It would be an important addition to, rather than a replacement for, other reference texts on the bookshelves of anyone who has a serious interest in Transfusion Science."
--Geoff Poola in BBTS NEWSLETTER, NO 44

5.0 out of 5 stars Blood group antigens, October 19, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: The Blood Group Antigen Factsbook (Paperback)
Excellent, practical and easy to read. Blood group antigens have been a confusing topic and few people can present it as well as Dr. Reid.

The book is well organized, gives you all the important facts and the clinical significance of each antigen. Truely a superb gathering of very practical facts. I strongly recommend it to clinicians, residents and medical students. This book has the facts you need for making decisions .
