The fantasy-adventure novel The Blood of Heroes is a quality fit for anyone who enjoys getting lost in a book and identifying with its characters. The futuristic setting allows for new planets and races for a fantastical--but believable--plot. Despite the unnatural events that unfold, the reader is allowed to grow with the maturing, rational Nick as he toils with the thought of a predetermined destiny and questions the unexplained and evil he encounters. The Blood of Heroes not only encompasses fate, love, and friendship, but the tale also includes a riddle embedded in the storyline--which does not have a typical ending.
