Very fresh approach to German military history. Lots of rare footage: Queen Victoria! Otto von Bismarck! Graf Zeppelin! Dr. Goebbels' clubfoot! (Talk about feet of clay.) Familiar people appear in unusual settings. How about Hermann Goering as a skinny flying ace? Or Hitler at the launching of the battleship Tirpitz? Admiral Tirpitz himself appears too, very briefly. The film is very critical of German industrialists collaborating with the Nazis, the Krupp family in particular. Gives some stats on the amount of money made per slave labourer. Covers both sets of Nuremberg trials. Fairly well narrated by actor Joe Morton (with some incorrect pronunciations). A treat for even the most informed history buff, I would think. For fuller information, see the IMDb. (Ignore the first review which mistakenly relates to some other title.)

I thought the part where they eat the horse meat is good but other than that i didn't like the apes running everywhere.
