Blood of the Isles is a very well written book, thoroughly researched, by competant people. A Professor Sykes tell's the story of our past, with a vivid quality and purpose. It makes a lot of sense, especialy with the DNA journey to our humble beginnings. Helena and Jasmine have the greatest assesment for England of which i came from. Professor Sykes, has done very well indeed, i cannot fault his work. He has placed together, the story of the Isles in as much detail possible, in the light of the momment. With the history and the detailed DNA, how can you get it wrong Professor. The charts are wonderfull, and detailed, to allow the reader to comprehend this work. In my unbiased opinion, their is an air of mystery about the Isles. It is stated by other known Authers, in their historical expetise; that the Isles are a haven for the Israelite, the pure bred Istaelites, not the Jews, as they are a seperate entity. And they came through the Northern confines, of their traditional homeland. In the time of 751 BC. They left an empty vacuem, for other dwellers, of whom the Lord despised. They called themselves Jews. The Pharisees were a People of Egyption extraction, and they were hired by Israelites as scribes and clerks, as they where a cunning breed. They eventually mingled with the new arivals, such as the Idumians, of whoom Herod came from . He being an enemy of Jesus. The Israelites found themselves in the Isles, after leaving Scandinavia, a stop off point. the English in particular are a very organised race of people, who had their Empire, then democraticly gave it away. They to have come to the end of their road, as their predicessors the true Istaelite. They fell from grace, in the Lord's eyes. And the English have also fallen into sin. In my conclusion to this wonderfull adventure, i can only hope that when i have my DNA researched, it will yield my Israeli ancesters.
